the aesthetics intrigued me and gameplay was very fun combining the gacha with clicker! Only negative part is the upgrades are a little pricey especially upgrade to speedup spin machine is expensive beginning of the game. Since I also developed incremental game I understand balancing requires insane amount of testing in genre with very long gameplay and progression. Other than that you nailed addictive part of mystery as main mechanic!
I will definitely add your game to Spincremental Collection, I would appreciate if you want to help my personal campaign of finding more fun Spincremental games (clicker and incremental genre) you can comment your permission or suggest games in this post
I looked into your game for like 30 seconds, I personally I think it has the core feel scaling abruptly high with upgrades like incremental games? Might have count if with upgrades score is scaling huge. I would personally vote on adding it to the collection.
Edit: After being addicted to 5 min more playtime, it is a great game I really enjoyed but I think I misunderstand the genre. It is more rhytm rogue-like than being incremental. Still I bet people will give it a chance it is addicting and challenging
I am trying to create "Spincremental" collection from this jam I'd be glad hearing incremental / clicker game enjoyers' / devs' opinions about what they have tried and rated in this jam. We should create the best collection for the best genre!
please comment on this post or contact with me so I can add you as a contributer in this collection:

Only rule: As a contributer you should add games with clicker / incremental genre, It may be the game you love or you have tried or you have developed. Adding comments for each game is optional, but free to add your constructive feedback while adding the game!
I have this collection so far excluding my game so I have a goal to find and try every incremental / clicker game and comment on them!
(I'll be available after preparing some meal so you may DM me in Juniperdev's discord serrver or DM my account discord: doozzarella).
Quack quack quack! Quack (Wow I win and loved boss design and it was fun short experience! Congrats)
qu'ck qooack quack quack q' quackquackquack que quecks! (Very cool idea to increase your odds on winning spinning wheel by beating up breads!) quekquek qooack qua qua quack. quêk q' quek que quecks! (Combat feels so synch with all clash effects. As a soulslike enjoyer it just feels great! I hope you add this fun part and animations to newer projects ofcourse enhancing and refining them) qu'ack qüek quack, quack queck qoack (May lack environmental design but the core is fun, has real potential if more time spent maybe on different concept)
quiack qUIck quęk quack qu'ck (may need some indicators on UI later to understand what actually happening on screen)
Thanks you feel that way! We have already have tiny emitted particles for each hit as you mentioned on your first sentence but they are very small compared to the drill, which take all the glory itself (selfish drills! That is why I prefer pickaxes in Terraria). But thank you for sharing your ideas, they are great and we had similar ideas that experimented too!
Honestly we could focused more on vfx (also sfx) since it is the heart of the incremental games IMO. Time was not on our side learning how to implement our ideas on scene and most of the time we chose best and fast solutions for them, expecting to return them to upgrade at the free time.
Thanks for playing and sharing detailed ideas I really appreciate!
This question makes me really happy!
I have a plan for complete overhaul of this game, keeping core mechanics and art-style, adding more interactables, more dynamic systems instead current almost static ore pickups and try adding different animations -especially dopamine-inducing effects- , variety of upgrades, shop system etc (Ofcourse many basic systems that the current build lacks like menu, settings, proper documentations etc.). I am excited to learn more about game development process, pipelines and proper way to publish and present.
(this part comes from my heart)
This is our first ever creation and so far I am really content of what we have learned in this short period despite each of us having busy schedule with internship / work.
Thanks my team accepting my offer and participating to make my dream of creating a game come true <3
What a spin-based rpg! Artstyle and animations are so great and combat is like evolved turn based rpg fights but everything is implemented appropriate to the spinning wheel. Each enemy having certain moves that affect spin mechanic and turn order is so interesting and there seem to have build variety for fighting in upcoming rounds.
you mean alllll that implemented in 4 days?? It is crazy satisfactory and super addicting, the theme, artstyle, the funny blabbering speech, and that crazy ending? Kudos to imagination. As I was playing, was thinking like "ok that one is also spinnable object, yeah how many more" and it kept giving me more things to spin / increment. The best spincremental game in jam so far, it has almost what we had in mind in our game could not implement / learn. (i am too excited it blew my mind. sorry if it sounds very unserious or not respectful, I might edit later)
You combined retro dungeon crawler camera movements in boomer shooter! It feels amazing, I just couldnt find a way to progress at first but hitting the bell worked and the game opened more and more! Especially loved your artstyle, reminds me Samurai Jack. I think the main character is really badass. Gameplay flows I will return to look in more details!
Very "cool" game. Clicker/incremental games are my favorite genre so I ate up all the game offered and still feel hungry... Cool pixelart and ideas making progression feel more unique with test and upgrades. I agree with the comment mentioning crits it would be extra dopamine resource, other than that CAAAAT i love petting the cat is like a main game mechanic :D
3 can of energy drinks to fullfill my serious business, it is super fun. I think artifishial intelligence is somewhat random defining what is serious or "serious" but still fun concept and made me spends a lot! Among my highest rated list hope this evolves into something more. Had a lot of giggles while filling forms as professional "Incel Jennifer, ligma@ball.com" B)
Thank yoou! I have solved that problem and tested in new build but it would be unfair to resubmit new file and I have left it this way since it does not break the game. Formula is correctly shown on UI but real value calculated is tied to "stone" ore property rather than each ore's unique levels. Thanks for details :)
I thought spinning wheel would give me the random letter and make me choose the position I can put but this is also fine and fun way building the words, it was fun experience even I was able to put English letters together!
Game in web window feels a little huge as focusing on the game windows does not allow me to scroll around every button on the screen that is the most yikes you can get from me, loved the rest :) It may fix easily so it is just a small issue many might encounter on first impressions.
That was the trickiest part of last days of development, many of test resulted as it being very long and tedious or just illogical and very fast. And maybe I was too burnout that testing it repeatedly for longer periods that masked my judgement and felt very long and tedious. (That's the lesson of how playtesting and announcing the game from earlier phases and collecting a lot of feedback outside of echochamber is really really really matters...)
I hope decision to end an Incremental game unconventional way just to demonstrate all we put in the game from start to very end scene worth shortening the progress. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you, glad you feel that way! I personally love incremental games but didn't realized among the development challenges how its actual challenge was the balancing and presentation of the progress.
Thanks for the pointing out the music part, I'd say that windows build in files seems to be working with looped music well but I haven't figured out why the web build behaves like that. I will personally look into that and learn.
Wow I like the intro and fun little pop ups during the spin. Eventhough the spin part takes a long time, had fun seeing that cursor and trail effect, among how my effort affect that ballerina getting very wobbly with each spin. I really wonder about what happens when I win but my hand is very tired from all that spinning, definitely will turn back to this later!
May be I am too biased saying as I am also into visual novels and liked the intro but I am rooting for you guys, that art-style might evolve into in future projects that I would love to play!
Thank you its our first game and the first very organizational, I specially proud of our 2D artist devoting in pixelart and freely implement their perspective, while listening our endless requests :)
The debug multiplier is actually coming from "Faster Drill", adding also slow auto-spin and x2 value multiplier features but like you mentioned it is not clearly added as visual feedback for this build. Very appreciate our first official feedback! yay :3
Hello, as soon as I posted stable version of we focused on more replacing placeholders and make the game look more readable, I think the UI correctly show in development but not updated at website. The purple "crank" should be spinnable by holding Left Mouse Button and dragging circular motions with mouse on that area, thanks for pointing out that since we plan to add tutorial we will try to make more sense to main spin mechanic and how upgrades work.
Thanks a lot for feedback this will change our priority list a lot.
Hello, if I would be very happy if you are still available to open for playtest our dwarf incremental mining game, even 30 seconds first impression is still valuable us, since it was our very first project with busy scheduled team and we were too focused on learning Godot, game design, git version control system and project management that we forget the most important part, feedback and presentation.
Everyone is invited to check it out: https://doozzarella.itch.io/spincremental
