Don't know what this means but I think I cooked B)
I liked the idea of the game, very simple but also very addicting. Maybe you could add an endless mode, cuz it kinda got me hooked 0_0

Really cool game! I got stuck with the ice cream thingy, but up until that point, I really liked the concept of the game, it was really cool. I had to play with my touchscreen lol cuz with the mouse is significantly difficult. Also really liked the little live camera in the right corner, one of my favorite things of this game. Great stuff!
oooh, I see that you were going for more of a metaphoric explanation, it seems. I unfortunately didn't really knew much of the lore tbh. I learned that there was a disappearance after playing it when I read the description in the page as it is not much explained, I think, in the game. (There is only the text of like "oh, have my computer, this is the password" but that's about it). And I just kinda jumped into the game, so I probably missed that.
Since that was your goal, maybe it would have helped (at least from my perspective) making it more obvious for ppl like me who didn't read the description lol. But cool idea nonetheless!
lmaooo lore accurate is crazy! Well makes sense, I also haven't had an office job yet, so maybe I don't find it relatable enough, but still pretty good game! Also, I ran it on Linux using Proton so maybe it was running badly bc of that? I dunno, but if you ever make optimization improvement lmk and I will give it another go!
This is so cool! I could see myself getting addicted to this!
The music fits so well that it doesn't need anything else to be honest. It's so cool
Some improvements I would suggest could be:
That said, I think this is really cozy game, and honestly really cool stuff! Thanks for submitting this :D
Really simple but engaging game, very hard!! I just got to the second phase so idk what more is there, but I thought it was a really cool idea tbh. The art is simple but effective, the animation of spinning in the bed is really fluid too. The music goes good with the game itself too.
The only two things that I'd say put me off is the fact that you have to replay over and over again to memorize the patterns or have a godly reaction time to be able to win. I'm not a huge fan of having to replay over and over again, and my reaction time is not great :((. Also a sound effect when getting hit would've been helpful, and maybe a few invincibility frames?
Other than that, really original way to incorportate the theme into the game! Good Job!
PEAK GAMING! I honestly love games like this that incorporate a UI like a phone or a computer, so it set up to a great start just because of that. The plot was intriguing and the minigames were fun as well! I got a bit raged out on the last ones though lol but they were managable. There is a spin mechanic which is really different from the rest we've seen, but it's there.
My only complaint, and to be honest if it wasn't because of this this would have turned out to be one of my favorite games for sure, was the ending...
I'm a real sucker for story games, and you got me hooked up to the story with reading the files, the logs and all that, and the ending was really underwhelming for me, sadly. That said, it was really great game overall, and would love to see it continued!
Great game! I can see why it has so many ratings lol. I think it was really fun, a bit too short maybe? or like, very easy lol, but I appreciate that since it didn't too much braincells for me to be able to play it!
Really cool concept, I liked it very much, not much else to say! Maybe perhaps that the audio I think was a bit bugged? Or like some words were cutoff and some were repeated but other than that pretty fun
I finished it and was hungry for more! Interesting twist! I thought it'd be a creppy game at first, but it had a funny twist lol. Don't know about the licensing though, gotta be careful with that.
I think it was interesting. Minigames were fairly easy, and didn't expect or understand much of the finale, though. I liked the retro graphics and I appreciated the voice lines as well!
*coff* *coff*
Welp, here we go.
Story
Cute and funny story, I though the characters where lively, and I like that you did the design of the characters white for the NPCs, it's clever and it also saves you on time. Cool stuff.
I didn't understand why Chris/Chrys had beef with the guy at the lunch room (don't remember his name). He seemed like a chill dude, though I suppose Chris/Chrys was just jealous lol.
Minigames
I don't understand why some were having trouble with the minigames. I think they were nice and pretty on point. They "come out of knowhere", but there's a sound for when they do, so I don't feel like you have to have insane reaction time for them. Flipping the wheel for the minigames was a cool addition, and it does fit with the theme as well.
The email minigames were cool too, I like that they speed up after time, it keeps it engaging. They're not too hard to get, and also not easy enough so that they're a breeze, so good job on that! (This is coming from someone whose reaction time is pretty mid)
The typing minigames were fine, a bit too easy perhaps? But I liked that they were there.
Visuals
I liked the artstyle that you used for the characters and also the background. Maybe the only complaint I would have is that we didn't get to see the bayblade battle, so it was kinda just there for me, but other than that, really good stuff! Only complaint here is that maybe the text box should be a bit bigger. I'm a bit blind so maybe that's why lol.
Also, I was a bit confused why his text was white italic when I thought it should've been gray, but then I realized that it was because it was inner dialogue (? Maybe there could be something to improve there, maybe make it more obvious or leave like that, I dunno XD [couldn't include a screenshot because itch io hates me but yeah]
Audio
Nice background music! It was on point and it kinda reminded me of Doki Doki Literature Club. I believe the wheels also had sound effect which is cool, and I liked the sound effect for the text appearing!
Overall Thoughts
I'm really happy to see another visual novel here in the jam! I thought it was really nice, cute, funny with a small amount of NPC interactions, but it made it lively! The sub-plot of the company is a cool way to also include the theme, and yeah. Definitely a great game, and fun to read through :D

Cool that you're doing a not rate4rate, but since I'm evil, I WILL RATE YOUR GAME TOO >:))))))

Well i mean, if u want to play my game there it is, I shall play yours as well, looks simple
I think it's a very original game, to be honest! I appreciate that you added the difficulty tab so we could adjust the difficulty, that said, I think what was most difficult to me was that I had to move the mouse to get air and energy.
I don't know if other people found that iffy, but I just didn't like it since I have to look away from the enemies, and check where my mouse is at instead of just blindly pressing a key, yk? So yeah, I think that was the main drawback for me in terms on gameplay. Other than that the visuals are simple but work and the audio is pretty nice as well, though I would made add a greater warning for when your air is running out, maybe? cause I wasn't really following, and I lost my air a couple times :(( could be just a skill issue but yk.
Really didn't get this one, unfortunately :/
Like, I tried clicking the words that felt relevant to the headline, but I still got meh scores, so idk if I was doing it right, maybe a skill issue. Also don't know if it's intented, I suppose yes, but when the popup appeared, it sometimes blocks the submit button, so I can't progress, I have to wait until it gets me out of it.
The visual were nice, and the audio is cool too. Overall is a simple game from what it seems, which unfortunately not really my style
Asset Liquidation? More like GPU Liquidation !!!
On all seriousness, it's a fun game. Before playing I thought it was literally about selling home goods (liquidating assets) and it was only on the second level, that I realized that it was a euphimism LMAO. I thought it was an entertaining game, kinda reminds me of Clowning Around which is another game around here with a similar mechanic. I don't know if there was more stuff more epic to discover since I left off at like level 4, but I really liked the audio, and how it changed per level, the queue thing I didn't understand where it came from but it was funny lol.
I wouldn't say it's my type of game, but it's pretty well made, and I don't know if this is because of my system requirements but the game felt slow, I always got "Needs Improvement" in the time category and Outstanding or Exceeds Expectations on the others, so yeah. Also I'm not sure if spinning while pushing yourself gave u a lil boost, only tried it once, so yeah.
Overall, I think it's a solid game, great graphics, and I'm sure there was more to see, but I couldn't. So yeah, thanks for making this :D
Also, I don't know if it's intended but on two ocassions the employees (obstacles) talked to me through the walls, if I was close enough.
