Thanks for playing my experience, I am really glad you found it interesting, immersive and cozy, that was exactly the mood I was going for.
I totally agree with your comments, the room is indeed a bit cramped. The revised version will be a lot more spacious. As far as the light switch, it toggles the main ceiling light, not the floor lamp. So you have to look at the light switch in order to interact. Maybe the two light objects should not have been so close to each other, to avoid such confusion. I will definitely keep that in mind.
I really liked the clear instructions and the minimalistic virtual space. The oranges were a great physics touch. It’s also great that every visual interaction is paired with an audio interaction.
Maybe the audio for the lamp interaction needs some refinement, when you turn the lights off and on again, the night-time audio keeps playing.
Awesome work! 🐕
I really liked the variety of interactions, the minimal aesthetic and the audio effects when interacting with electronic devices. The coffee drinking interaction was also a great idea and could be elevated by giving the player extra abilities as a result of being energized.
The navigation of the space could be improved a bit. For example, moving from one desk to the other is blocked by the collider of the second chair, so I had to walk around it.
Awesome work! 🦁
What a great idea and execution! The riddle, the wax tablet puzzle, and the overall concept of accessing the interactive items in the correct order were incredibly inventive and kept the end user intrigued.
I would have liked the player to walk a bit faster (I had to use the sprint function at all times), and perhaps simpler input methods—I struggled a bit to remember all the keys.
I would love to see this concept expanded into a whole ancient villa with many rooms and facilities. 🏺
The visual aspect and aesthetics of your project are exceptional. I really liked the detailed instructions at the beginning and the arrangement of the space. The sound of nature when standing near a window was also a great feature that enhanced the immersion of the environment.
Maybe it was just me, but I had difficulty interacting with the notebook and the second pair of headphones— in fact, I only managed to interact with them once. I would also love to see some visual indication for interactable items, perhaps an outline or a shine effect.
Great work, resulting in a great user experience! 👏🏼
Thanks for the constructive and on-point feedback.
Just a quick clarification: the permanent UI element (i) can also be toggled by pressing the [i] key. It was my way of solving the issue of the button not working well in a first-person approach, but maybe this interaction wasn’t as clear to the end user as I expected.
I plan to incorporate your recommendations in a revised version of the project. 🐈⬛
