I think I’m overall happy that Running Life placed the way it did. I feel like I could’ve done better if the game guided the player a little more, and if the game was less difficult to play. Outside of that, I feel like Running life was a pretty solid entry, and I can’t wait to make another game for another game jam.

What are your final thoughts about your entries for this game jam?

The game seems unfinished. I don't know what to do and I can't play the game.

Sadly, my laptop I use for development is too slow to overflow it's RAM, but cool concept none the less. (My laptop's an ASUS A16 Advantage Edition. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, and 64 GB of RAM.)

This is a wall glitch I accidentally performed towards the end of my playthrough, softlocking the game. Aside from this odd bug, the game was pretty neat, although I felt like the gameplay for me got a little repetitive. If the game was a little bit more difficult and had a greater variety of enemies, I think the game would be much better. At this moment I feel like you can last forever as long as you play just right. Other than that, nice job.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... this is interesting.

The game was nice. But boy do I wish I had an auto-clicker. This game tired my hands out after a while of clicking. Other than that, good job.

This game was pretty neat, although there were times where I would crash into absolutely nothing. Other than that, this game was neat. Good job!

Pretty clever typing game. Although there was a bug where I couldn't type in the box on occasions. Over than that, I think the game was pretty neat.

I do have to say that this game is very clever. I did realize that the bubbles will drop a little further to the left compared to where I actually drop them, but other than that I mostly have no problems with this game. Well done!

I did like the presentation of the game and I liked the concept of overloading the vacuum cleaners with your own dust. However, I did find it relatively hard to see behind me because of the camera positioning. There was one level with a vacuum cleaner that was completely out of sight and I didn't know where exactly to go (It was the second level). I had to use a wall glitch to advance to the next level (The vacuum cleaners can vacuum through walls. I also found another bug where you can jump up/off walls if you press into them just right). Overall, I feel like this game would've been better as a 2D top down game, since that would allow you to see where you are going better, and it would also possibly put you in more danger, emphasizing the concept that "nothing lasts forever". That's just my opinion, but I think the game's presentation and concept is sweet. Good job!

Funny enough, I thought this game jam would end on August the 31st until I had already submitted the project, which was why I submitted it so early. In fairness, that did buy me some time to learn how to upload my games to itch.io and to style the homepage. I still wish I adjusted the difficulty, though.

I know. I don’t know how many times that bird has killed me during my playtime in this game. It makes this game incredibly hard. I believe I’ve only survived up to 2 minutes average, and it’s all thanks to that evil little monster. I wish I had time to go tune the difficulty in this game, but I had submitted the game before I could do such action, so I figured I’d leave it in. Thanks anyways!

That’s odd? Did you stand right underneath the water dispenser, since you have to be right underneath it to collect water? You also need to pour within the tree to water it (you need to stand within the stump. If your doing it correctly, there should be a small particle effect). You also need to hold the buttons to do either action.  I do appreciate the feedback, though. Thanks.

I'm excited too! This is also my first game jam!

Just finished mine today.
