Thanks for playing the game! Yeah it's super rudimentary in its current state. I have spent some time to add actual FOV and better room and door generation, but the project is on hiatus because of work and I want it to be in a better state before pushing any updates.

I'll see if I can focus on AI when I pick this up again

Super fun! A lot of the castles feel new and interesting, and if you don't mind me asking I'm curious as to how the levels are created?

And yes, the snail is too close to the start, we could have definitely used some play testing on that lol

Game feels nice to play and I love it! I agree with some of the other comments about respawning closer or making it a bit easier at the start, otherwise it's great!

Cool game! I wish I could see the stats of the slimes when they're on the board, but once I saw the tips on the game's page it made a lot more sense!

Loved the art style! Only issue I had was that sometimes it wasn't clear what was a background graphic or an interactable element. Overall great and I loved the clever puzzles!

Yeah, one of the things we forgot to add. Went ahead and added an overview to the main page, here's some quick info

Base Unit Overview:

  • Mosquito, fast and high dodge %
  • Mantis, strong slow attack
  • Eggs, ranged, fast attack, stationary, and high defense
  • Maggot, ranged, and small dodge %
