Thanks. I did think about adding Earth gravity too and ran out of time. Maybe I'll add it after the Jam...

Don't be sorry! With the simple mechanics and unforgiving gameplay if it doesn't click for you there isn't much room left for it to be fun! The SAM voice is ironic - many of my other games have gimmicky voice overs and with my self-imposed extra challenge of only having procedurally generated assets some cheesy TTS seemed like the best fit. Though in hindsight if I had given myself more time or more filesize budget I would've polished that part more.
Because Game Jams aren't hard enough I'm going to challenge myself even further:
1. No game engine, just Raylib 6.0 and C
2. Web build of course but single executable for desktop platforms - no external asset files or libraries.
3. Minimum file size and maximum seriousness.
My game may suffer but it needs to learn that this is very serious business.
Enjoyed this. Though I worry playing it too long would give me a real life fear of spiders (and butterflies!!). Great work on the destructible walls and cool way to unlock new areas and the panic audio got my heart rate up!
I wanted spiders on walls in my game too but couldn't get it working well enough in time. So pleased to see it working in the first game I played in this jam.
Nice work.
Complicated game! I made a menu and ate some cookies. I guess I could have earned more money if I set things right, but my dessert burger and healthy pizza still brought me in some income.
I got a bit confused with the commands and needed to use the help system after every command! Also some commands need to use the name and some work with the index so I got in a tangle, your gameplay video helped.
