What a lovely little game this is. It nails the Christmas spirit, is presented beautifully, is sweet and wholesome, and mechanically it's spot-on for a good time. I'll play this every Christmas like I watch my favourite Christmas films. Thank you! I wish there were some way to financially support your game/games - do you have a Patreon or something?

I'm quite chuffed about this - I started doing a series of visual novels just to explore a mascot character I had developed for my games website, DigitallyDownloaded.net, but the've gone down well, and now I've just released my third here: https://digitallydownld.itch.io/summer-loop-a-my-time-with-dee-dee-game
HOW WOULD YOU RESPOND IF YOU WERE CAUGHT IN AN EXISTENTIALIST NIGHTMARE?
It's the last day of summer, and we all know what that means, right? A trip to the beach! New memories made, and friendships formed that will last a lifetime.
But what if all of that went... weird?
Summer Loop is the latest in the My Time With Dee Dee series, with an experimental narrative and structure, plenty of humour, and a laid-back, chill slice-of-life vibe. Explore several new locations in the expanding world of Dee Dee and her friends, meet someone new, and see if you can unravel a challenge inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre, Albert Camus, Samuel Beckett and classic anime like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya!
- A highly interactive narrative with five different endings - all endings build on one another too, so you'll want to experience them all! - A chill, jazzy soundtrack to set the scene for the warm summer beach experience. - 25,000 words of text, and around five hours of play. - A 2,000-word essay experience in the "Teach me, Professor" bonus content will give you a deep understanding of the thematic basis of the game. - Fan service. It's a day at the beach. Of course there's going to be some fan service!
If you're keen on checking out the rest of the series, here's my itch.io page: https://digitallydownld.itch.io/
Looking forward to seeing how people enjoy this one!
Wow, those are high words of praise indeed. I'm humbled, and thank you! <3
We have so much more planned for Dee Dee (and her friends... STAY TUNED!). It's going to be great, so glad you got in from the start :-
Thank you very much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it (and I'm really glad the humour came across, because given the material, it was both really important... and really difficult to do).
Also I'm glad the Professor Talks bit was interesting! I'll do my best to keep picking interesting topics to cover with these things!
Thank you very much for playing! ^_^
