I know of at least three different VERSIONS of Curse out there, some of which have an unreachable ending. Some people think the designers created other versions deliberately and let them spread among the piracy community to frustrate people and encourage people to pick up the official versions.

I'm thinking of taking my RPG book, Curse: The City of One Thousand Martyrs, and creating a guide to it as though it was a text-based computer game from the 80's. The guide would be an unofficial one made by message board members in the 90's.

I've got a couple of ideas:

• A second hex-region adjacent to the official one.
• A collection of different groups and factions.
• An expanded spell list.
• A set of locations that changes tiers, depending on different circumstances.

This instantly reminded me of a game I've wanted to make for a while, something nice and short, about 8 pages. Can't wait!

Any number works. At least a game master and one player, but you could play up to 6 or 7.

Hello all! I've just completed a major labor of love with Curse. 

Curse: The City of One Thousand Martyrs is a system-agnostic setting book detailing a wretched and ruined city at the edge of civilization. Designed to easily be used with most fantasy roleplaying games, the book details the city itself, the people and creatures that inhabit it, as well as the lands around the city, detailing greater Teranern. In addition the book features a two-page adventure venturing below the city itself.
