Yoyoyo first of all thanks for the appreciation!

About the theme implementation... gameplay development has been a little bit "foggy" since we worked on it everyday, and everyday we changed something. The light/dark theme in the game is found in many things:

  • The little girl's fear of darkness, that makes her see "monsters" and the only thing able to help her is light (her flashlight).
  • As an allusion to positive/negative people, as stated in some dialogues with someone.
  • Contrast between appearence and attitude of someone.
  • ...And so on!

If we didn't manage to make it clear, then it's our fault. That being said, I think anyone should believe to their own interpretations and, most of all, have fun with the game!

Just played it and it was surprisingly a blast. 

The assets might not be the best but I enjoyed the puzzles. The sounds are the best part imo, you managed to create a fantastic atmosphere, tense and scary at the same time. Nice job!

Nice little game, the concept is simple but effective and the game flows smoothly.

Bonus points for the cute ghosts :)

Our team's programmer worked with UE5. We had some issues, especially during the implementation of our game's quest system, but he managed to fix em!

Great little game, i really enjoyed playing it. It takes quite a bit to get used to the sword mechanics, but hey, it's so damn fun! The art style is on point too! Really curious to see how this game will evolve

Hey, thanks for the kind review! Sadly we didn't have enough time to playtest and balance everything, but we'll do that in the future. There are actually other features that weren't implemented in the game, so stay tuned for future updates! ^^
