holy crap he didn’t disqualify you!? Congratulations!

Yo i just had an idea for this exact type of game. Reply to remind me to play this later please, cuz i do not have time rn.

Seriously though, The game is amazing in it's design. Make the monster just absolutely brutally dificult to kill and have it do ridiculous damage , and give it the ability to pounce, and you've got yourself an amazing horror action title.

This was awesome. Probably disqualified like you said. but still awesome.

Man i bet you have a huge monitor lol.

I got stuck on a smaller perspective. no idea how to get the character to get smaller.

Cool game though

I have absolutely no idea how you made this in 48 hours. Also, the enemy was very easy, i didn't use a single health pack and it didn't do much damage to me. Also, once i got it's attention it was very easy to just unload into it's facehole and kill it in like... 2 encounters. However it was very sketchy and still very fun to play. Not totally sure what the role reversal was?

Thanks for the reply mate. hope you can sort it out for next time :)

Quite Fun. Also, I look great!

Brilliant idea. Game honestly might look better than Vampire Survivors, and the gameplay is fun too!

Honestly pretty genius game, but i didn't find it to be that fun. Did i make bad game?

Jesus , Hugbug! Your ideas are dope! I also always appreciate the amount of work you put into your itch page. I'm really curious how you made this game.

Thank you! BTW love the pfp.

Actually, this is    pretty good!

Well i like the minimalism, but I totally don't know what I'm supposed to do.

neat. seems like i couldn't figure out how to beat the level with only one block.

Pretty good. i wonder why this is    not getting more  reviews than it is.

fun game but wow is some of the chaos modifiers kind of BS.

The tutorial is cut off, the music is insanely loud, but it seems fun. however i can't seem to figure out how to attack.

It seems like this is a good start to learning game design. Good luck with your progression.

it appears as though i finished the game, am i wrong?  There was just the few enemies and then nothing happens?  tried posting a screenshot but itch won't let me.

Does this game not work? let me know if it does and I'll download the windows build

Well it's a cool idea, but  it seems like the controls are quite undercooked, unfortunately.  Good job finishing a game though, that's honestly the most important thing!

I thought this was insanely enjoyable i got a score of 800 and something. Unfortunately i don't see how this fits the roles reversed theme.

it wont even run for me. what did you do to get it to work?

Hey thanks! It's pretty hard even for me! I haven't had a chance to try   yours yet but I will definitely leave a comment when I do though!

thank you so much for your kind words 🙏

Oh dude! I gotta go try your game tomorrow. How could you possibly reverse arkanoid?

also I’m glad you liked the game!

hey! Thanks I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Only thing is I had 2 other hero ships about halfway done when I realized I wouldn’t have time for either, so we’re left with just the one guy. I might update the game., so if you’d like to see more, drop me a follow or I can’ try to comment just lemme know.

yeah I wasn’t able to tell that the gameplay wouldn’t feel quite as responsive and active as I would’ve liked a bit  too far into the jam  to change it :’(

Glad you liked the game though!

thanks for your comment! I definitely didn’t have time to sort out fonts, hah! Glad you enjoyed the game!

I tried fiddling with adding a grab_buffer, but my cognitive load was too high and my code was getting messier and messier and my methods more and more sketchy, so I just gave up on that cuz I still had stuff to add. Haha.

anyway, I KNOW RIGHT? I feel like the idea of controlling the drones is brilliant. I had an idea while working on it for an auto battler based on Galaga  where you earn ands select what units are on the field while the heroes send more and more units/higher class ships at you. Could be a neat like mobile game or something akin to Loop Hero.

Can this be used with Isometric tiles? My guess is no.

I really quite liked this game. I stumbled on this because I had a different project by you bookmarked lol. That last level was more frustrating that fun only cuz i knew what i needed to do, but took too many loops to do it. But I could see this game being more than this if it had more mechanics added. Really neat.

Excellent Assets. I'd like some mystical swirls, fish animations (like silhouetted or not), and some animated grass (if it's not already in here). But really, This is just awesome. I came from your Discord.

In case it helps I feel like the better option is damaging you if you start on the tile, rather than enter the tile. But you may feel differently. Might be too large of a nerf to change it from what it is now. Anyway. I really liked the game.

The characters just seem very basic looking. I think they're a good base, but if you added some shading or accents to the characters the graphics would immediately improve.

The thing you described about the enemy attacks is exactly what I mean. I feel like it should  either only hit you if you're standing on the tile at the end of your beat or the the beginning of your beat, not both, but I see why you did it that way, and the whole game would have to be designed differently if you did one or the other instead of both. You had some clever ideas here.

This was really quite fun! I especially like the ending. I don't know what else to say. I feel like it's hard to go any faster than 210 ish.

Do you just dodge? Clicking doesn't seem to do anything.  Game is a start. edit: I do really  like these graphics though. The fish is so cute.

This was very very intense for me. The gameplay was... pretty good. I feel like the music made me anxious as hell, but that's probably the intention. Great job with this. Graphics were pretty good. The music might've been a little too repetitive, but that probably added to the anxiety, so... IDK if i have any useful feedback.

The green guys. Way easier if you just stand up and run back and forth until they shoot, and then you take your shot and then start moving again. Was that the intention?

Went in expecting a rhythm  game, and got a puzzle game instead. I was pleasantly surprised. I see you said Rhythm games are hard to make, but I don't think this would count as a rhythm game, even though the moves happen to a beat. Very interesting game, but a bit frustrating that it seems like enemy attacks  seem to be "alive' for 2 beats instead of one, but it's okay. I really liked this :)

Almost forgot to mention how cool the intro voices were. The only thing I actively disliked was the graphics, but the game was really good. fun to play. Bit hard to start, but satisfying to figure out, so probably a net positive that it's hard to understand at first.
