How in the heck would the itch.io staff know this information. Please tell me who is in my house that is a private space not open to the public that I do not know about. Let's be real and cut the BS. Most people that look this tag up is behind closed door and not doing it publicly. And here I was thinking this was a platform that supported free expression(that is within the law of course) but no, both itch and steam have no balls. Sure you could have lost a little money by telling payment processors to suck it but you would have gained SOOOO much more support that would have been a net positive in money eventually and reputation locked in. Sure it starts with nsfw games but what if payment processor says "we don't wanna support violent content" what then? You gonna remove 70% of the games because of blood? Then after that, payment processor says "you know, we don't really like this political views remove everything that doesn't align with our think". I think I wont be joining itch, gonna just make a private website that has nothing to do with these payment processors and go straight crypto, believe me I hate crypto because it is slower but if I get to regain my freedom so be it.
edit: Apparently crypto is faster than it used to be, good to know.
