Interesting game! I didn't really understand what I was doing besides buying stuff and letting the days pass by.

In the itch page it menitons tower defense, typing game, etc. I didn't see that play out, or maybe I was doing something wrong, but fun little game

Thanks for getting scared! I didn't think it was going to be scary anymore after testing it so much

Yeah that was ok, for a solo jam this was a good attempt. I'm not sure if there were other towers I was only able to place the rock

(1 edit)

For those mentioning about not being able to play, I found that going just above the top middle of the play button I was able to click it (I was in fullscreen).

Neat idea and decent execution, I wasn't able to clean up in time as I didn't see the UI indications.

That was very enjoyable, the loop was simple but fun and the different ways to upgrade the player was well executed. I do feel some of the upgrades could have been stronger, allies weren't a whole lot of help as they didn't deal that much damage. The difficulty increase was balanced great!

Oh man I'm jelous, I wanted to do something with physical waves but didn't think I could do it. But you've done a great job implementing it into a fun fast game. I'm always a fan of things that go brrr.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to write incredible feedback!

You are right about the noise mechanic, the monster does always follow the player even if you make no noise. There were plans to expand the system, interactable objects in the world that emit noise to distract the monster, cabinets you could hide in to mask your noise, but time be damned we didn't get it done.

I appreciate the tutorial feedback, they are important even if people don't like them. There was supposed to be more to the tutorial task but the build just decided to not include it :(

Sorry man, already got the team and not looking for anyone else. Hope you can find a team and make something though

Hey all, our team at the moment consists of;
- Me (programmer)
- 2 sound designers (won GameOff 2022)

We are looking to make a small team of people that have some experience already doing jams or are able to show good quality work. We are looking for 1 person to fill each role
- 1 Artist
- 1 Game designer (generally is also the team lead)

The game engine will be Unity
My timezone is London and the other members are within an hour

We are looking to make a more quality and polished game for the jam, anyone interested please reach out I'll get back as soon as I can.
My discord is @Sqaishy#0188.

Really cool game! I never knew a game could be so relaxing and yet cripple my patience trying to move the loops around. But for cat I help.

Thanks for playing! The orcs might be cheap but they are not very strong, its the zombies you want I made them a bit too powerful and didn't change it in time.

Thanks for playing! I didn't do a lot of balance so in some parts the game will feel easy like you mentioned.

Thanks for playing and enjoying the game even though it is a rough prototype. You got it right with it only being the foundation, I do have plans to maybe continue making the game into something more fleshed out and polished.

Thanks for playing! Yeah the balance wasn't the best and there was a lot I didn't get done, but glad you liked it.

Simple but cool concept! I tried so many times to beat the game but I just couldn't do it. I think the traps are too subtle so I kept running into them when dodging enemies. But great work overall!

Cool game! I liked the sounds of the little monsters, and the level design was very impressive for a short jam. Unfortunelty the framerate did drop quite low once the red monsters started spawning making the game difficult to play.

Thanks for playing! Yes unfortunately there is a strange bug where some players will experience a shorter jump, as you experienced that makes the levels impossible. To try and fix this (maybe) reload the tab, close some other tabs, or try a different browser, sorry this happend I just can't seem to figure out why?

Thanks for playing! To get the transition right took me longer than I'd like to admit.

Hey thanks for trying to play! Unfortunetly there is a bug where some players experience a shorter jump, tried to figure it out but still not sure why this happens to some players. I would recommend trying to close other tabs, refresh the page, try a different brower, hope that helps.

Hey thanks for playing! The jump was a weird one, I tested with some friends and one of them did experience a shorter jump making the levels impossible, as to why I don't know, I'm sorry if this happend to you. I would recommend trying the game in a different browser or closing some tabs to help.

Thanks for playing, what aspects of the game did you find difficult to figure out? I see diffuclty aiming is a common one for people.

Thanks for playing, I do wish I reworked the dragon hitboxes to be easier to hit but is what it is now.

Straight, if your game has walls of text I am skipping it every time, thank you for doing us a service!

Cozy family friendly game! The tank controls were a bit hard with how fast it turned though.

Fantasitic game, really cool mechanics and great art style! My favourite part was the voice acting, not having to read is top marks for me.

Thanks for playing, the dragons with their little legs are so adorable!

I found the game quite difficult, luckily my ship couldn't die it just wouldn't go below 1% hp (bug maybe)

Thanks for playing!

I think the skeleton growing with new parts is neat, even though the mouse controls were a bit janky to use.

At first I was confused but once I got the hand of it pretty fun changing the size of everything.

Short but simple I like it, nice job on your first jam!

Interesting concept and very easy to play, just there doesn't seem to be much stratergy when launching the green atom.

Wow a very clever way to handle the scale of the game, and  that intro cutscene :( poor dino bro.

The banana got stuck under the scale at first, but once I resest its a nice game. I like how the music dims as you open the menu, nice touch.

NIce little game, I couldn't win cause I found it quite difficult to get things onto the catapult as you have to be in the perfect spot for it to latch on.

I do prefer 3d games so it's nice to see one in the jam.

Music was good, I felt the sound effects were a bit lacking. But overall nice jam entry, good job!

Thanks for playing, I was never happy with the interactions and I really should have explained it better in game. But for not being able to drop ingredients that's intentional.
