One of my levels, the second one to be exact, has a boulder running after you. The boulder is outside of the playing field so I am not sure if it's gonna work out, but it sounds cool and a much better way to play levels than the one right now. I am also going to write some things that should be added or changed for the next update whenever it comes.

Ask if the player if they actually want to clear the screen in the map editor; //it has happened a couple of times 

Implement a button that hides the UI in the map editor because you can't place blocks behind the buttons and the only way that I know how to place a block in those spots is to move the map around with the arrow keys;

I want to rotate the springboard; /* You should be able to rotate everything except the person and the door instead of flipping */

There is an annoying bug in the map editor, an object that has the ability to be attached to a wire will break randomly after I place any other block;

The grass, background, and the ceiling background will become invulnerable to my delete ability after I start the map and they can only be deleted again if I reload the map;

I don't like the block that stops the player from building. If you want to fill a room that has sloping floors, part of the room will have a black background and the other will have skulls; /*that’s the opposite side of the slopping floor*/

I am glad you enjoyed them. I had a break but I am thinking to start making them again. Do you know if the game will be updated again?

I came back for a second round and noticed another bug. It has to do with the lock on tower. I don't exactly know why it happens and because there isn't a creative mode, I can't test it many times without first beating the first 2 waves. The towers will lock on to the robots that haven't entered the arena yet and the bullets won't shoot in the enemies direction nor mine but in another direction. Just look at the picture and you will know what I'm talking about.

You can stop the robots but they will eventually slip throught the sides. Do what you want about that.

Anyways, I'm super excited about the future updates.

All of these bugs have only been tested on the windows version of this game.


Bugs

The "Report a bug " button, when you pause the game, will open the google forms tab twice.

If you try to build anything on the trees, you will hear a sound on any of the sides on the map except the top part.

Sometimes the game will get stuck on the loading screen. I just figured it out!, it only happens if you close the file.

Most of the top part of the tower isn't a  spot you can delete the towers from.

When you highlight a tower on the right side of the screen, any attempt to select a tower from the edge of the transparent white square will prove invalid, even though the cursor changes to the one with the index finger out.

I sometimes get hit by an invisible bullet at the end of the round . But, I might've not seen it.

You can push a robot into the finishing zone, (where the robots always try to go) and you wont take damage.

You can push a robot just fine, it will take more time to push 2 robots, it's very hard to push 3 robots and when you get to 4, you'll get pushed instead of the robots. In the round where 3 robots are stacked together vertically, you can push them easily instead of being as hard as pushing 3 separate robots at the same time.

When the Master, SFX and Music circle in the middle of the bar in the settings gets closer the left side of the bar, part of the bar will start to chip off.

When you push the robots through the path, they won't run off to where you started pushing them from.  This rarely turns out to be false, but at the end of the road, they will go back to where you started pushing them. This only happens sometimes.

If you hide behind the turret, if you're too close to the left, the left bullet will hit you the same applies to the right bullet if you're too close to the right bullet. If you're near the middle, the lower bullet will hit you instead of the upper bullet. This applies to the Quad-shot and the Octo-shot. If you hide behind the Lock-on in the middle, it will hit you but the bullets will go downwards instead of upwards. And the spinner will always hit you if you hide behind the tower.

You can build on yourself, therefore if you are in a corner and build on yourself, you'll get stuck.

Things you could change or add

When you're in the state of Iframes, I think the bullets should be destroyed to give the player more of a chance.

 I also think i'd be nice to drag the towers from the shop to the playing field as another way to build towers.

The Loading screen is really empty.

I don't want to grab a heart if I'm full health.

The blockade can't be rotated, therefore it's more usefull verticaly instead of a horizontaly.

Change the texture of the grass, it's too repetitive.

Add some other trees.

I think the coins to get the spinner are too rare for what you end up getting. 

Make other maps

Add some music to the title screen

Some new towers

More enemies

It's really fun to play, but I don't think I can beat a score of 814 (at the time I wrote this comment)

A bumpy Ride

I beat the level on the dunder.exe but I cant beat it on the browser the same way I did it on dunder.exe

Hi. I just finished playing your game “OverGun” and I really liked it, albeit a bit short. 

The music and sound effects you used are great and the character moves very smoothly. The recoil feels nice and it can get very crazy when you hold the Spacebar.

Things you could add or change:

Iframes would be nice and I think you know why.

If Iframes aren’t your style, add a dodge mechanic or slow mo to evade your bullets.

How much you hold the jump button should determine how high the player jumps.

Give the coins a use for example you can buy guns or maybe even upgrade your character. 

You probably are already doing that and it isn’t implemented because it's a game jam game.

The only enemies are walking dude, ghost and bat. The bat and the ghost are essentially the same thing and the dude will just walk on a predetermined line and will not attempt to follow the player. Then again, it’s a game jam game and you’ll probably add more enemies and change their mechanics.

Change the colour of the player and the enemies, so you can differentiate them from the background. (optional)

When the bullets touch, they destroy themselves(very optional)

I’ll paint a picture for you of a thing you could add. You are jumping and you happen to fall on an enemy, the player should bump back with them. This doesn't only apply when you are falling. It should always be active. It’s kinda weird that they die if you touch them, how about they just bump back when they touch instead of vanishing.

Bugs

{

I just found six bugs. In the first one, you won't die if you jump into the pit to the right and to the left of the last level.

 The second one is weirder and almost went unnoticed. On the penultimate level, there's a coin above a platform and to the right of the coin, there's another platform this one has a walking guy or zombie, 2 ghosts and a bat. The Ai for the zombie is normal but the 2 ghosts and the bat will only notice you if you happen to fall on the platform with the coin on it and on the last level, the ghosts won't notice you but that is probably meant to happen. Weird.

The third one is also weird and I don’t know how I realized. Most of the platforms have a section underneath them where there are a lot of dots spread around. From what I saw, that is mostly unsolid and you can jump into it but, on the level the zombie made his debut ,the only platform with spikes on the top, has a solid underneath and you won’t be able to jump through it.

Really I have no clue how I found the next one. The right side has priority. What I mean with this is that when you’re walking right, you won't walk the other way if you press the left 

button(both left and right are being pressed). But if you’re walking left, you’ll change directions if you hold the right button.

The bullets just sometimes get glued to the walls or floor, essentially becoming a landmine and after a while, they disappear. I did this by shooting the wall and moving back and forth. But this is only most of the time consistent. The image at the top shows the bullet.

This one is simple. When you shoot and your characters back is touching a wall or box, after you finished firing your gun, you won't be able to turn the other way without first walking in the direction you just shot to.

Secrets? 

After you get to the credits, If you press “F2” you’ll enter a new level. The level has a crossbow and you can shoot the arrows onto the wall and later jump on them. I also found a bug here that I didn’t mention in the bug text. If you are too close to the wall and shoot, your arrow will shoot and get stuck in the wall.

The second time I came to this level, I noticed the door in the sky but I couldn’t reach it. I used the prototype gun and shot the wall. I still couldn't reach it, so I shot an arrow at the arrow I shot before and it worked! After making a line of arrows, I entered the door but to my disappointment, there wasn't anything there.

I went back there a third time and I tried my hardest to glitch out and go back to the first level but I couldn’t.

Anyways, a really fun experience and I wouldn't mind buying it on steam when It gets eventually finished.
