Gorgeous game.

Some thing that frustrated me a bit :

- Not knowing where the spirit would go and having to restart on failure

- The indication for taking damage was a bit unclear to me

- Not being certain if some shadows were enough or not for making the spirit safe (combined with the previous point)

IMO the strength of the gameplay is in the puzzle aspect, so you should seek to make that part shine.

This is my favorite submission so far, it's super solid and fits the 20s format so well!

Love the vibes, a bit confused about the game itself, is there a way to distinguish shadows or is it all guesses?

I like it! I also think it's a good thing that balloon are worth a lot of point, as rushing to the end is a bit easy.

Took some time to click but once it's there it works very well!

Are you secretly an amazon lobbyist trying to make packing things appealing? I see you... 🧐

Thanks a lot for playing!

I've added an option menu for volumes and mouse sensitivity

I've also added a leaderboard to the game, just saying... 👀

It was a typo and I had fixed it yet it somehow made it into the build! It should be fine now (thank god!)

The "additional" targets really add a lot to an already satisfying game, love it!

x2 are a bit op, it's a fun game :)

This was a lot of fun! Unfortunately I have what I assume is a bug on the computer on the right where some characters (arrows?) are replaced by missing symbol characters.

Nonetheless I still got my stomach full and escaped so it's fine :)

Nice game! I think the "thrusters" are under-exploited as a mechanic but otherwise it works :)

For some reason none of my clicks work and I can't start the game :(

Wow, thanks a lot! I'm so glad you had a good time! :)

I envision making a regular version with full tracks but that's a lot of work, I'll let you know if that happens!

Cute game and nice dreamy atmosphere, i liked it

I'm curious, to me Shack is pretty mild, does it sound too strong? Is is because of the sub-bass?

Anyway, thanks for taking your time :)

I have a vague idea of the overall plot in my head, and there's a short track by track lore explanation in the itch page but frankly it's quite fuzzy.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it :)

Baile on la playa rocks (not literally)

I love this, especially soup of sun (I want to swim in it)

There's one caveat, I think the drums are way too spacey and a bit too fat (I'm listening on headphones)

But overall? Love it.

Hello, congratulations on your tracks!

Here's some feedback; I think "A prayer beyond midnight" is great, and the other song is a tad bit weaker. Overall I like the sound and texture you made, as well as the change in pace through the songs. The mixing is good too (at least on my headphones).

The hook I found rather weak though, I couldn't find a strong theme and it's a bit of a shame when you have all this background nailed already.

Another remark is that the songs are a bit narrow in tonality and maybe you could've tried broadening them a bit.

These critics are mostly true for "See you beyond the Tides" but also slightly true for the other song.

Hope that helps, see you!

I liked the unneasing undertones

I really like your way of merging the theme and special object.

The game was short but I liked it, too bad there's no audio!

There must be a misunderstanding, you have to launch a dart with right click to pop the balloons!

Such a clever take on the 20 seconds format, I love it!

Is it really possible to collect all the slimes or is this propaganda to make us more efficient?

Cool game btw, I think it would be even more satisfying with some more juice! (slime juice, that is)

This is good! Only wish it had a bit of music!

(Also, thanks for supporting controllers)

Frustrating in a good way, I think it works as it is!

It's also nice that you gave progression to learn simple recipes first.

A bit confusing at first, but I quite like it, the concept is original and the presentation is on point.

Yup, unfortunately this issue is tied to how browsers handle "locked" mouse games and I couldn't find a remedy. Hopefully it hasn't altered your appreciation of the game too much!

I see how you did that, well done

(1 edit)

I felt the gameplay part were a bit short and weak, but the ambiance, narration and story were great!

Overall I had a nice time!

That's weird. Did you enter the first arena room, the one after a long vertical corridor you fall into? (did the music change and did you notice enemies spawning in waves?)

If not, either you got a bug or you didn't find the path to go there!

The fight lacks deeply in feedback. And so I guessed I should have to guard while the boss was rushing me but I wasn't even sure? This and the fact that you have only one life so understanding how things work take too long.

Very good game, love the juice! I think the rooms are too plentiful and too repetitive but the bosses kinda make up for it :)

Very original mechanic and story, it's a bit hard to control the tower though!

I'm not a masochist and so I didn't torture myself to make the full climb, still, I think your game is original and well designed, it was a good experience!

I didn't like platformer parts too much, especially since dying makes you restart the whole level (very frustrating).

The main "selling point" of your game is clearly that you can move and carry your rocky pals, and so I would have expected more interactions in that sense (make them platform, make them tank hits etc...).

Nevertheless, I liked the story and the atmosphere and I think it has potential.

Seeing that you plan on continuing working on the game, I'm curious as to what direction it will take!

Very clean submission! love the feel, love the look, puzzles were nice.

My only remark is it feels odd to have such a chill music, otherwise there's not much to say, congrats!

Game seems very complete and has a nice ambiance, unfortunately I couldn't shoot enemies at night and without a tutorial I didn't know what I had to do

Nice original game, unfortunately the first (?) boss is very confusing and I couldn't pass him.

I think screen transitions could be handled better but otherwise I liked the experience
