Hi everyone,

I just released Open World – Winter, a pack of 10 seamless ambient loops for snow, ice and mountain scenes — sleeping valleys, frozen lakes, ice caves, foggy passes and summits at dusk.

The whole pack is built around one instrument, a glass armonica, with a distant wordless choir underneath. Slow, spacious and mysterious, with no drums and no lyrics, so it sits under dialogue, dice rolls and sound effects instead of fighting them.

What you get:

- 10 seamless loops, 3:12 to 5:37, crossfaded so they repeat endlessly

- 10 long versions, 10 minutes each, for tabletop sessions and streams

- WAV 48 kHz and MP3 320 kbps

- Level-matched to -16 LUFS across the whole pack

- Royalty-free for unlimited projects, commercial ones included

You can listen to all ten in the player at the top of the page, and track 01 is a free download.

It's the winter companion to my first pack, Open World (dark fantasy): same format, same loudness, same license.

Happy to answer any question about the loops or the license.

Fie & Vinegar is a period insult generator: Middle Ages and Renaissance, French and English, four corpora kept strictly apart.

Most medieval insult generators draw on the same three columns of Shakespearean words — a classroom handout that has been circulating since 1994. I built this one the other way round, from the dictionaries and from the plays. Every rare word is glossed, dated, and traced to the work it appears in:

lurdan — a lazy, cowardly and ill-mannered wretch — c. 1400 · Piers Plowman

272 words, 146 of them dated, drawn from 81 works and three reference dictionaries: the TLFi (ATILF-CNRS), the Middle English Dictionary (Michigan) and the Bosworth-Toller. Six words were cut during the build because they turned out to be first attested in the 18th or 19th century.

The words are of their period; the sentence patterns around them are modern constructions in the manner of the register, and the program says so plainly.

Free browser demo — the Renaissance register, complete, no limits. The full version adds the Middle Ages register and two ambient music loops.

Hi everyone,

I just released my first music asset pack: ten dark fantasy ambient

tracks meant to sit under a game and stay there — sparse, slow, and

deliberately short on melody so they don't fight with dialogue or

sound effects.

What's in it:

- 10 seamless loops, crossfaded so they repeat with no audible seam.

Set your engine to loop and forget about it.

- 10 long versions (10 minutes each) for tabletop sessions, streams

  and videos.

- WAV 48 kHz and MP3 320 kbps, every track in both formats.

- All tracks normalised to -16 LUFS, so you're not adjusting the

  volume between two zones.

The tracks cover a full session: forest, ruins, roads, village,

caves, a hostile presence, mountains, swamp, storm, temple.

You can listen to all ten in the player at the top of the page —

the previews loop seamlessly too, so you can hear exactly what

you're getting before buying. Track 01 is a free download.

The music was generated with AI tools, then trimmed, level-matched

and looped by hand — the loops and the long versions are manual

work, and that's the part that makes them usable in an engine.

The page is tagged accordingly.

$2.99, commercial use allowed, no credit required.

Happy to hear what you think, and to take requests for the next

pack — castle and combat themes are what I have in mind.
