Oh cool, I'll definitely give it another try if you can get a fix out.

Okay, first let me talk about what I liked - the weather effects were pretty cool, going down inside the ship during the storm felt pretty immersive. The ship felt pretty nice to control, although a bit slow, and the idea of the "lamps" being a lightning strike was quite cool (honestly, a game focused on this would be pretty interesting).
My biggest issue with this is that it doesn't really feel like a game (and not because it's unfinished or in-progress) there isn't really a gameplay focus or objective as far as I could tell. It feels like it's trying to do a lot of different things at once and not really doing any of them fully. There is a lack of polish to most aspects here (the first thing that stood out to me was the game's title, the font and color choice are a bit weird to me) which makes this feel more like throwing a bunch of marketplace assets that don't really go together all that well into a project and messing around rather than an actual game. Also, the music going wildly up and down in pitch was interesting for the first 5-10 seconds it happened, and after that it got very grating on the ears and annoying.
In summary, I think it’s a decent start on some of the systems, but I think it needs some more thought put into the gameplay and a lot more polish if you want it to feel like a cohesive project.
Really intriguing game - I really like the visuals, the computer screen and texturing in particular are really cool. I also really liked the Skybox, looked unlike anything I've seen before - also the green ocean complemented the color palette quite well. I unfortunately couldn't really figure out what the objective of the game was, I didn't understand what I was supposed to do in the "X" area of the map or how to get the Crane to work - Personally, I think something like an instruction manual would have been very helpful and on-theme for the game. It was still a cool experience though.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the game loop! I really appreciate the feedback - and I agree that more guidance would've been better.
In terms of your experience, I think it was coincidental that you had just caught a fish when you died. What probably happened is your boat was off, which, you have a limited amount of time to turn it back on (if you're away from home) or you will get killed. I also think I should have made it more clearer what exactly is killing you in those situations.
Hey there, I've been loving the plugin, you've really made an amazing selection of synths here, and I plan on using it in a PSX-styled game I'm making.
However, as some have mentioned, it causes my DAW to crash whenever I try opening a project that uses the plugin (reaper just immediately closes when I open it, and gives me a warning next time I try opening it), I've never had this issue with any other VSTs.
I tried what you mentioned, uninstalling the plugin completely and reinstalling it, but the issue persists.
I'm using Reaper 6.81, Windows 11 64bits
