A good vibe I hope :)

I like twists and turns of expectations, hope the cowbell knocked you out of your seat too XD, Thank you.

:)

That's totally fair, I too have dealt with such compromises it's just what it is.

Great idea making a leitmotif kind of thing, the sounds and vibe fit perfectly to an astral weapon. I feel that there is a big discrepancy in the low end between the two tracks, either tone down that in the first track, or increase it in the other one, or do both XD. Was waiting for a big burst of low energy in the second one, it felt a bit thin, it might also be a bit quieter.

Now this is awesome, some really powerful sounding music, some good rhythmic ideas. As a Dane i can only understand the words sword, future and some heavy light something, maybe

Really great idea, a cool take on what a weapon is, the music fits that interpretation really well. Would love for the track evolve further with some more instruments maybe, or some other chords, I think that would elevate this. Love that bass sound btw.

Thank you. A silly melody and silly music for a silly pirate scythe gun weapon thing :)

A nice and mysterious kind of vibe, a great fit for a story/EP centered around spellbooks.

Dramatic, energetic and punchy, you sure nailed the atmosphere and sounds, must be a powerful dagger. Melody wise, I wasn't really sure whether what I think was the melody, actually was the melody or just a part of the atmosphere. While simplicity is a good thing, it doesn't stick out as a melody personally.

Thank you for the kind words. I love Gypsy Jazz, which i have drawn some inspiration from in this tune. Originally i wanted it to be something like Bluegrass/Country, hence the trainbeat and schythe, but I suck at that style, and felt I could still make the beat into something  jazzy, and it ended up sounding, to me, a bit pirate like, which led me to use a harmonica/melodica kind of thing. So i guess you could say that the style is what it would sound like if Gypsy Jazz and Bluegrass had a baby, that grew up to become a pirate, or something, know what? let's call it Pirate Grazz XD

Thank you

thank you

Thank you

Thank you!

thank you

some quite nice and distinct types of music, yet still cohesive, well done

Thank you, I did spend a lot of time, perhaps too much, on the synth sound, especially on the midi, took a while to dial it in

Thank you, I was gonna lean more into the Takanaka vibe, with acoustic guitars and stuff aswell, but got a little distracted

thank you

Thank you, low end is always tough to get right, I´ll keep it in mind for when I do another pass after the jam is over

This is quite a lovely soundtrack, really laid back, and I like the way the music is composed, and some great melodic writing.

What sounds or sound libraries did you use for this soundtrack? They sound nice, and are well mixed.

thank you

I like the vibe of these trackls, the synth sounds are kinda "harsh" (for a lack of a better word) in a cool way, and the fake sounding drums really fits the sound and does add some nice character, well done.

Thank you, I get what you mean with the (lack of) story, something to expand on for sure

thank you, I did have some other ideas, just not enough time to create them

thank you

I completely understand that, would be worth working on that

Thank you very much! I was very much surprised myself, worked much better than anticipated.

Wow, something I´m noticing as I´m taking screenshots, some leads in "Waves", which I thought were muted, were in fact NOT muted, no wonder some energy suddenly vanished in the end! Something to fix up after the jam I guess

I´ll upload some screenshots and a link for the music in just a moment

must be the filtered white noise I used as percussion no?

Thank you, glad you caught on ;)

I love how you slightly distorted the music when (I presume that it's you), when you mention it being AI generated

Thank you, I love me some modal interchange and 7#5 chords, was contemplating whether to have that be the dominant chord in the end there, but thought it would stick out WAY too much

I like this interpretation, kinda fits with what I was thinking with the repetitive piano ostinato, which was meant to signify this endless search.
