I had a quick look/new game to confirm, I think it's the music moving between areas in Giant's Cradle, that track is what played over the credits. I thought it was a choice haha.

Ah okay, that answers my question, and good to know the Linux angle is being tested too.

I imagine TSE2DX would be even more time consuming than the first also. By remaking do you mean rerecording? Or are we losing our sweet, sweet OG soundtrack? :O

Fingers crossed indeed. Mark's worlds are amazing, I like the art, the dialogue and plot is great and then Josh's music just captures it all so well. These two games are in my top 10 games. Nostalgically biased? Who knows! XD

Beach credits, the "boyboyboyboyboyboy ah-yeah" song haha. Will the default scaling be the similar/same as the original game, so if emulated on Linux (where it sounds like scaling isn't an option or is locked) it'll be a good experience? Glad to hear about the items though. I could never figure out how to 'cheat' in the original to try the items out, but they look very useful. 

Looking at the 'cutting room floor' for TSE2, you'd have plenty of excellent material for a potential TSE2 too, should you want to one day after this. I really hope this game does big numbers and Mark Pay sees the appetite for a 3rd installment. Perhaps you could co-develop!

Really looking forward to this. Recently played through nearly all character combos in TSE2 for nostalgia's sake, then was going to do the same with TSE1 and forgot how hard it is in comparison. Your 1.05 patch made it playable (vs crashing with post-battle music) at least. You removed the old post-final-boss/credits music though! Hopefully it comes back. Is there going to be a toggle for some of the GUIs you've added, like party money, xp level, so forth. It might look a bit visually noisy as is. Glad we've got more inventory slots, 5 was ridiculous. Any plans to add the OG unused guns/talismans/armor to shops? Keep up the good work
