Sorry for the inconvenience! A helper UI could've been better. You don't have to get too close to the projectile, there's a little offset.

Haha. It's intended as the bounds are for player only and the enemies can go around behind it so the collision detection for them are turned off. It's still under development! Glad you liked the style! ^ ^

Haha, I gave a few tips and solutions for the game in the comments below if you still want to try it out!

I went to try your game but I physically can't :'). I felt super sick just moving the aim once and the scanlines made my head hurt so bad :'). But I loved the atmosphere and horror vibe to it. Huge fan of horror. I rated the fun part based on the comments :)

I'm sorry for your struggle :(

I completed it from scratch along with the idea itself in 3 days, so didn't have enough time for a proper tutorial. Wanted the players to figure out their own as a form of puzzle.

The answer to the 5th level is "BRACKEYS". You don't have to finish it tho. It'll only bring you back to 2nd world. You can unlock platforms on the 2nd level by staying on the platforms from the 3rd level for just 2 seconds each. They're in the exact same place on 2nd level, just jump on them. In World 4, you have to use a door 3 times to complete a pattern, and the sequence of using doors matters say you used door  2 after 1, it has a different path.

BTW you can finish the game at the first level :>

Cool concept! The art's really cute. Try making it auto-select the mana if there's only one. It was fun! :>

I love the concept, the art, and the music was very much fitting. It would've been better if the camera speed would match with the player when the player goes just the right amount of distance away from the left side so that the player can still see what's up ahead.

But the fact that each door looks different based on the world behind it kind of defeats the purpose of the theme of wondering "Which world is behind it?", yet a great touch to detail in general.

Aside from that, the game's just great! ^ ^

I actually made it to take it slow not rush. You have to rest in certain places for certain amount of time to unlock the mechanics.

Spoiler: stay on the right corner for 5 seconds and you will get launched on the platform above. completing next level will only get you back to second level. Still play it for the full experience. Try staying on the platforms of the third level a bit and go back and forth btwn 2nd and 3rd level and check for changes.

This was so much fun! Really like the design, the controls. It's got a metroidvanina touch to it. Love it!

Coor design! I really like the visuals and sfxs. But again as everyone, "THE CONTROLS". Overall enjoyable ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ 

Made this in under 3 days including the idea, design, and whole code from scratch (> <). It's difficult to figure out but that's the goal of the puzzle!

I like how every world has different physics and control. It would be better if some of them had constant random velocity rather than just adding force. Cool graphics and SFX ⁠ ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

It's a puzzle game. The idea is to make the doorways feel like a maze. It's intentionally made to be difficult. There are multiple solutions to it. Player needs to figure out their own. Tho there's a small hint for the player on world 4. Hope you figure it out :)
