Hi, thanks for the feedback. You're right about the starting back at the beginning if you die. I will have checkpoints in the final game for sure. I might put an update fixing that in the demo. Stats currently reset if you die as well. That too will be fixed in the final build. Appreciate you trying out the demo.

Peril is an action adventure 2d platformer created using Unreal Engine 4. In this game the main character must battle through various worlds and defeat many enemies, all the while using a javelin as both a weapon and a tool to reach new places. This is only the demo version. The full game is still being developed and will consist of seven unique worlds.

So I need some help with Level design. I use my Javelin as a tool to jump to create platforms. There is also a combat system. I am trying to find a balance between the two. I'm starting to feel like the puzzle aspect may provide for a better experience and I should use the combat as a filler to break between puzzles. Please try out the demo and let me know what you think of the level design. That is by far the hardest part to building this game.
