Thank you so much! I remember seeing your game on QC's stream, I'm flattered you think mine is even decent compared to yours!

thank you! it's very late here but I'll try to make time tomorrow to get to yours:)

Here's a game I made with my partner, a cute little stealth-platformer roguelike (ratlike?) called Ratsacking. Would love your honest feedback!

Hey there! Would love you to check out my stealth-speed-platformer Ratsacking!

Thank you for your comment! So glad you enjoyed the alternate ending, it was a blast to come up with. Secondary theme of this game for me was trying to get chuckles out of the player :P

I'll be sure to check your game out now!

Thank you for the kind words!

They sure are hungry! Am still patiently waiting for someone to comment about what happens when you don't give into their greed, though...

This game has a really cute concept and art! I'm not sure why the audio is muted by default though - the music adds so much! I felt as though the gameplay was a bit too difficult, and the hairballs were hard to control. Art direction, both visual and audio, is absolutely awesome here though. Kudos!

This is really fun, obviously inspired by Balatro but it delivers that same juicy feeling that Balatro does. I do wish the enemy could draw to 16, though - maybe I'm missing something, but any time the enemy has a low card you can just stand knowing they can't ever outdraw you. Cool game, on theme!

So glad you enjoyed!

As someone else stated, they felt there should have been a warning once the traps were implemented - I intended to have one, but totally forgot as the mouse traps were a very late stage addition. I've added a little warning going into Day 4, along with a few bug fixes.

This is funny as hell - It reminds me of I am Bread. Visuals are cute, wish there was audio! I did get stuck, unfortunately - I think the issue with creating such a large scale map is that you can run into clipping issues and such like this. Those things aside, this is a great submission!

This game is gorgeous - kudos to you. It feels so smooth, the HUD is awesome, sprites are great - just feels like a good old dungeon crawler. I do struggle to see how it fits the theme, though, which is my main issue here. Apart from that, game feels super responsive and clean! I do wish there was audio though - I feel as though it can feel a bit empty without. You've done really well here, and you've served the genre well!

Thank you for rating my game!

This game looks cool! I wanted to play, but my browser was stuck loading - I left it for atleast a minute, but to no avail :(

Update: Got it working! Took just a bit longer - hopefully this doesn't deter people from playing.

I love the vibe of this game. It's eerie, clearly inspired by awesome games like  buckshot roulette or Inscryption. I do think the difficulty ramps up too suddenly - Cookies 1 to 7 were fairly easy, with 7 being a bit of a challenge, but 8+ was effectively just a guessing game. I felt there was a hard cap where I was just supposed to lose, despite really trying to win. I really like the atmosphere you built here though, and the assets are cool!

Thanks for rating my game!

This game was very cool. I don't have much experience with resource management games, so I definitely struggled with grasping it, but the tooltips were very helpful. I did get stuck at the research screen after my first run though, I couldn't figure out how to un-grey the continue button. Maybe a bug?

This game is visually awesome. You smashed it!

Thank you again for rating my game :)

Thanks for your feedback!

I've tightened up the hitboxes on the traps a bit - I think they were a bit too unforgiving for sure :)

As mentioned in another reply, I definitely understand the repetition issue - We wanted to design a level with a small enough scope so that we could detail it accurately to fit the vibe, but unfortunately I think the gameplay space ended up a touch smaller than I would've liked.  I've also sped up the cutscene, so hopefully it doesn't feel like a slog.

Thank you for playing!

Wow! Thank you for all your feedback!

Honesty time:

The 'continue after dying' thing is a bug - forgot to have the game reset variables upon starting again! Fixed now, thank you!

Tooltips are a good idea. Luck increases the odds of food spawning - higher luck means more likelihood of a treasure trove of food.

You are right about repetition; I hoped the mouse traps would help that, but we designed a level small enough that we could accurately detail it in the time period of the jam. If I could go back, I'd give the map some more variation, or perhaps more verticality.

Thank you so much again! I'll check your game out now :)

You haven't linked a submission page, just the itch edit page, which I don't have permissions for. Did you make sure to properly submit your game?

Hi there!

I'm looking for some games to rate tonight before I doze off. Drop a link and a brief description of your game and I'll check it out! (WebGL if possible, please)
