I understand and feel the same. I had a few ideas to improve the gameplay during the development of this game but I didn't have enough time to implement them. The ideas are in the backlog and maybe later I'll make a new and better version. Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, I think the gameplay could be improved with this rhythm system and I have a few ideas to improve it, but for now and unfortunately, it's too late... Maybe for a future version. Thanks for your comments!

I'm glad someone noticed the work done on those guys haha. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for playing!

I would have liked to add bonus cards that control the BPM but I didn't have enough time. Thanks for the feedback!

I can understand that, especially when the BPM becomes quite fast. Thanks for your feedback

It's a great game, I love the vibe! After a few seconds of getting the hang of it and a few moments of sweating, it's fun to play. Good job!

Yes, I understand, I didn't have time to introduce a tutorial in the game but that's why I've just updated the game description which explains the purpose of the game and how to play it. I hope this helps you and that you enjoy the game :)

Thanks for your feedback and I'm glad you like the art style, it was a real pleasure for me to create it all!

It seems to me that I must have encountered this bug once but I haven't reproduced it for a while, thanks for notifying me anyway.

I didn't know Canabalt but i can understand the comparison!

Now that the difficulty has been updated, i hope you'll enjoy it!

I saw the difficulty after seeing other people feedbacks. I've played my game hundreds of times, so for me, I knew how to play naturally to counterbalance these drawbacks. So I've adjusted a few things in the new version and it should be better for now.

I also understand about the last part, but like many of us, i was running out of time and i really wanted to challenge myself on every part of this game, first time i work with pixel art, even for the music I made myself. That's why I couldn't do the last part with a fight against the Kaiju (which would have been even more fun for sure). Maybe in a future version.

And thank you for your feedback!

Yes it's actually 2.5D! I like this visual style, so I tried, even if it's not perfect.

You've tried the first version, which was really difficult. I didn't realize how difficult it was at first because I'd played it almost a hundred times, so for me it was almost easy, but then I saw with others that it really wasn't... So I adjusted a few elements and it should be better for most people now.

Thank you for your feedback!

I can understand, especially on the first version which was far too complex, sorry to have awakened these traumas...

And thank you!

It's really qualitative, you'd almost think it was a demo of a game about to be released!

The bases are there to make a great game! Well done!

Original concept. It's relax and a bit stressful at same time, good job!

So cool! Pretty design, gameplay, challenge, fun, it's all there. Good job!

Simple but fun to play and finish, good job!

I love the visual identity of this game! It was also great to play it. Good job!

I love the Kaiju animations, it was great to climb buildings and crush soldiers with my feet. Good job!

Great game with a great concept and visually pleasant!

I was able to finish the 3 rounds but at the end the kaijus and tanks were looking for each other, which was a little frustrating not to be able to do anything about it, so it would have been interesting to be able to do other things to improve it, but I'm sure you ran out of time. In any case, I'm sure there's a lot you can do with  this concept. Can't wait to see how far it goes! Great work!

I feel like I've stepped back into the 90s when I was just a kid, and that was good. Well done!

I was happy to have the opportunity to destroy the environment! And  the design of Kaiju is really great. It would just have been nice to be able to keep the items in hand before sending them wherever you wanted but great work, it was good!

First of all, thanks to everyone who played my game, but I realized it was too difficult. So I've decided to make a small update to make it more enjoyable to play and not too frustrating (though it won't be easy).

The changes:

  • Colliders on the edges of buildings removed
  • Fireball hit while jumping no longer slow your speed in the air
  • Improvements to some obstacle colliders
  • Kaiju attack cooldown reduced

The update is now available.
