I really liked the game-play. Some sound effects and background music would add a lot but overall it was fun to play!

The audio and line-art are really good! Improving the game-play and extending the story would be cool to see.

Sometimes the inputs didn't work for some letters. Also, the letters are hard to red because of the black would definitely suggest using some white. Also, the animation with the letters disappearing also makes it a little bit hard to read quickly.

The game feels like it's missing something.

A really and interesting twister on platformers that was actually pretty fun. The screen-shake was a little intense though.

The 3 hour version put me in a empty void with the character?

*Edit

The browser was the problem I switched and everything loaded.

The game feels a little too easy and repetitive.

Love the unique twist on a standard maze game. I got to 47 before losing!

I was very confused why the menu wasn't working till I reread the description.

The game is really hard because the mouse isn't locked in the program so it's decently hard to turn but other than that the visuals and sound effects are great.

I definitely wanted to add sound effects but got a bit distracted on the blinking mechanic. So I ended up just throwing a background track in.

Really unique take on the theme! Loved playing the game, though there was a few problems like the audio stopping after the first track and never playing again.

Fixed it :)

Thanks for notifying me!

Interesting, is it the very first level where this occured. I have a few ideas but might need to narrow it down.

I'm not the one who made hit detection so I'm not 100% what is causing it. Though I was trying to solve it. I think the radius might be too small for the weapon but that's just a theory, a game theory.

Hello! My friend and I are participating in a Secret Santa game jam, where you receive a letter and interpret what to make from the persons hobbies, game interest, etc. The idea that we settled on was a 2D top-down cyberpunk game where the player fights robots using a guitar. We’re aiming for a hardcore hack-and-slash style, where the player mows down groups of robots with their guitar. The idea is still in its early stages and could use some refining, so we’d definitely welcome suggestions and input from anyone joining the team.

We need help with pixel art, as neither of us has the skills to bring the visuals to life. Specifically, we're looking for an artist to create:

  • Characters: The player character (a futuristic rocker) and a variety of robots.

  • Environments: We’re envisioning a cyberpunk UK-inspired setting, filled with neon lights, gritty streets, and a tech-heavy, urban atmosphere.

  • Weapons: The guitar, which will be used as a weapon, as well as any combat effects and UI elements we might need (though we’re not too picky about the UI at this stage).

  • Additional assets: Anything else that could enhance the game’s look and feel.

The jam ends on December 22nd, so we have about 8 days to finish. We’re on a tight deadline, so we need someone who can commit to this project in the coming days. If this sounds interesting and you'd like to join our team, send me a DM on Discord (ChickenGamer)! We’d love to collaborate with someone who shares our enthusiasm and wants to help make this game as cool as it can be.

True I had the same problem with lighting

Yeah if I had time I would have added better lighting and instructions.

Thanks the original idea had 5 different sound puzzles but I only got 1 in

Added a fullscreen button to fix this! Don't know why there was a problem with the web build on itch it was fine when I tested it.

Interesting concept. I ended up killing myself on purpose because I didn't think there was a ending. I didn't see any use for the radar mechanic. I love the sound effects that you made! Also when you die the stats don't show properly. Even with killing myself I got to 184 seconds and 474KG of gems and  £191

The game can be cheesed by spamming 1 and 3 has they swap over it'll hit anything in two. I like the concept though.

I wish the guns had shooting noises because it feels odd shooting a fast heavy gun at the planes and no sounds coming out. I do love this concept though I don't think it relates well to beeping.

I love the concept I like how the colors are supposed to confuse you and you have to match the sounds.

This is a pretty cool concept though even if I did the right pattern multiple times I would lose.

The audio and visuals are pretty neat though moving around is a little scuffed. I do love the concept though it's hard to keep your score high.

The sliding made the game pretty hard has I would always lose my points has soon has I would hit a rock which were pretty hard to avoid.

I couldn't really figure out how to play though I like the sound affects and visuals.

This was a really cool concept though the beeping is sorta loud and annoying.

That was a really fun game. I got 1317 points. The audio was nice and soothing for when you would close things. It felt like a aim training it was a nice stressful feeling.

I love the visuals though the game is very easy by just spam clicking you can avoid everything.

I like the two player mode even though I played by myself. This is a pretty neat concept and the honking isn't too loud which makes it enjoyable to spam click.

Wasn't able to play the game.

I was confused at the start on what to do than learned I had to hit the enemy. I wish there was a hit sound it was be really satisfying. I didn't know if there was a win condition or not so I went till about 75 points. You can also spam click which will make the ball fly almost instantly to where you click. I also couldn't see how it fit the theme.

I love the concept. Instead of using text having it be audio based would be amazing. I feel like the game was too zoomed in either having it be zoomed out a little more or a mini-map could have a way better feel.

Hitting the notes feels kinda unsatisfying because nothing really happens. In addition sometimes when the arrow was right on top it wouldn't detect when I clicked on them.

The game is pretty cool I just wish there was a better way to tell where the cars were coming. I died due to the house being near the edge and than a car ramming into me.

The game had a pretty interesting mechanic of picking up the objects and putting them on the right side. Though sometimes it was hard to pickup items even when user proper technique.

Really love the car honking mechanics made it really fun. Though I hate how you can get hit off but that also kinda makes it fun.
