It feels very good. A top-down shooter with switch mechanic feels fresh. Death is not frustrating, because you don't have to go through the level again, you just have to get into the same body.

It lacks a better sense of impact from shooting and hitting enemy, but it's quite difficult to do everything in such a short time. I also threw out all the "extra" in my game on the last day of the jam

Nice game. I think it would be better to fly towards the orb instead of away from it, I don't think it would make the game much easier since you still can't control the player in the air, but it would make the movements more predictable for the player

I really liked the wall bounces during the dash, they look pretty funny

Simple and interesting
There is not enough indication for the white projectiles that appear, you don't have time to react.

And did you add the detune on purpose to make it sound more like devil music or is it a pitch issue?

When the character screamed "Oh my god" I was really scared. 10 jump scares out of 10

The game is amazing, the best or one of the best I've seen. But it's as if the loop mechanics are not needed here, I would be calmer if there was no timer on top (even though you stop paying attention to it if you collect bonuses) and returning to the very beginning at the end is annoying.

It's weird and fun, I liked it. At first I thought the game was impossible to complete, but then I realized that you have to hold the key, not press it many times

I think something should be done about the "jam zones", they are clearly breaking the balance. Well-placed zones allow you to complete the level without jumping from 4 to 8 times until they disappear

And they also write to me that my game is difficult, but compared to yours, I have an easy mode. Nice rage game

There is not enough reason to shoot. The first time, like others, I spammed a bunch of projectiles and killed myself. The second time, I just shot 2 times and slowly moved up and down, the enemies did not have time to reach and died

With this mechanic, you can definitely come up with a lot of things and make an interesting game, but first you need to motivate the player to shoot so that he gets some additional reward for it

P.S. The game is not bad, I'm just trying to push you so you can make it more interesting

I don't know how you did it, but I was immersed in the atmosphere of the game in a matter of seconds, although in games from jam you usually don't immerse yourself in it at all.

Honestly, this is the 3rd game I've played with this idea, but this game has the most enjoyable character controller, although it's not perfect either.

But the most important thing to praise this game for is the level design. The levels really use mechanics, almost never repeat the solution, try to surprise with something (maybe not ideal for a big game, but for a game jam everything is great)

I would go through a few more of these levels👍

I liked the game, it's interesting to play even in this form. If you develop the idea, then of course you need to make more rooms and random events, the game lacks stakes, now you just clear all the rooms, but I would also like to have different pieces of the map. Not just passages from one room to another, but for example buffing rooms to put them on enemies or vice versa debuffing, you can add rooms that do not provide an overview, but open directions or rooms that need to be placed next to something to get a bonus. And perhaps pump them over time "building a deck". Well, of course, in this case you will have to expand the map (4 * 4 or more)

From the bugs that I noticed:

- Sometimes the rooms do not correctly determine the turn, because of which visually they should be placed next to each other, but this does not happen

- The click sound is very annoying, something is wrong with its frequencies, it hurts to hear

To be honest I didn't understand anything, I got an artifact after the fight with flowers and saw "end of demo", and then the game started to behave strangely (not that it was great before). Anyway, at some point I started to enjoy teleports between screens (please tell me that was intended)

The idea is good, you literally walk on the corpses of cats that were before you

I think it would have been better to make the "past bodies" one-way platforms. I blocked my way several times by killing a cat on the edge of the spikes.

Interesting concept, I was very surprised and at first did not understand how to play.

If you want to develop this demo further, then think about this:
- If you make it more difficult, then give the player more predictability, add some additional indication or something like that, so that you can better understand where the ball is pulling and how to influence it
- If you make it simpler, then a hotkey instead of 3 buttons would not hurt, so as not to move the cursor around the screen too much. Another option is to completely abandon the buttons, it may turn out to be a good hyper-casual game

It's very addictive, and it's hard to stop playing. It's a good game. However, it might be a good idea to avoid moving the background too much when moving, as it can be confusing. Additionally, it might be helpful to highlight the player's projectiles with a different color, as I didn't always understand where they came from.

The visual style looks amazing, and the tutorial is really lacking, but I think I've figured it out. The only thing that seems strange to me and might be poorly received is the timer. It seems that most card game players like to think about their moves.

I liked the idea that the game needs to be "broken," and if it's used as an auxiliary mechanic rather than the main gameplay, it could be a great commercial game.

I expected something simple and cute from the cover, not a complex platformer, but it was still pretty fun

Great game, but now I'm homeless... Oh wait, I never had a home

I'd like to turn off the noise filter. It's very hard to read the text, my eyes get tired quickly. The gameplay is very similar to "Luck be a Landlord", it's not bad, but I would like a distinctive feature not only in the visuals

I didn't think that vampire-like could surprise me with anything, I was wrong. Very addictive gameplay, but it's worth adjusting the balance a little, the first levels could have been given out a little earlier

Can you tell me how you made the slime? Is it a 3D or 2D character? It looks very unusual

Thanks for the feedback. I think I figured out what's wrong, I'll try to release a patch after the jam, I hope you try to play the new version. As for the full release, I'm not sure, it's hard for me to understand the target audience of this game. And what I want to add to the game may not please rhythm game players, but what they want may not please me :)

Thanks for the feedback, I didn't have time to let someone else play the finished game. I thought the game was too easy, but apparently my "Normal" is actually "Hard"

Good game, but after killing 100 it gets boring, i almost beat your cheat "record" without any tools
