ah i finally got outside, a bit underwhelming to be honest. maybe add a "thanks for playing"? 

another time loop game like cavernous has been something ive wanted for years! this is a really good game, but feels a little too slow in terms of actual progress. and its a shame the echos dont do anything. i still havent figured out how to leave the house. but ive been just about everywhere. and discovered as much of the map as i can find. this game really would be so fun once its a full game. the gameplay loop is really enjoyable. 

a few more information would also be nice. it wasnt clear to me what focus did. since i felt its effects werent worth using. the cooldown underneath the mana made me think that the focus lasted that long, and i was upset when i upgraded it and it reduced how long it lasted. but of course that was the cooldown instead. 

still not entirely sure how to use focus though. it seeminly only gives you a small boost in speed when interacting with things. 

while its really cool to add lots of things in the game when its not finished yet. played it can be quite frustrating when some things dont do anything. i would delay adding the echos until theyre actually usable. just saying "purpose unclear" is really unsatisfying, after spending time to find a path to them.

fun little project!
the good: 
great vibe, audio and visuals support the atmosphere well! 
the hand reminds me of white knuckle, another great game.
the notes and dialogue are a bit cliche but still good. some of the hidden notes are cool to find but the lore reward is lacking. 
the bad:
the lag at the start of the day, and also when i turn my flashlight on is annoying. 
the lack of an ending is a shame. it took me 14 days to get all the upgrades. and i played until day 17 just to see if anything changed. nothing did
if the blob of meat gets too big, you can walk through it. 
when the blob is big, the seemingly nearby roaches don't go near, and still only count when they hit the spot it used to be at. the collision for adding meat and roaches doesn't scale with.
never needed to use the crouch button. why add it if its not used? 
a little nit picky but when the trap door opens, the roaches are still able to walk on the floor that isn't there anymore.

wonderful art direction, great sound effects and a fun game! so well done! 
only criticism is the text is sometimes hard to read with the crt filter.

very cute, though i want to be able to zoom all the way out and watch them all.

After a good couple months of work, my Unreal Engine remake of the classic 2013 idle game "Candybox2" has entered Beta! 

Fight rats, Wolves, Nougat Monsters, and strange Magical Cave Monkeys, find Candies, Lollipops, Chocolate Bars and more in this fun combination of RPG and Incremental game. 
Equip armor to increase your skills, find passive items to gain fun effects, magical spells, and more!
Use your acquired candy wealth to buy items from various vendors throughout the land! Candy Merchant? Sorceress? Magical Wishing Well? 

The core gameplay is finished, and the game is only missing the Potions brewing system, final lighthouse Minigame, and some of the late-game fights could be spruced up a bit.

Feedback and bug reporting is highly appreciated!

i hope to play it again once thats fixed! the vibe is great! good job on whats available now, looking forward to how it develops

dying of radiation, i equip a rad pill pack, it disappears, i have many in my inventory, so i equip another one. it disappears. the third i equip also disappears. i start losing health. its okay. i bought a bunch of health packs. i equipped one in my stash so its still equipped, but i used it 3 times. only one left. i use it. and regain health. i equip the bandages i have found on my adventure. it disappears. i click extract cause thats bull. 80 percent extract, get found by some bandits, i click the 86% chance to succeed option because bribing wanted my legendary item. i fail. my character dies at full health. 
the game idea is great. most things look fun. the game needs to be balanced and in a less buggy state for me to actually enjoy playing this. quite disappointing. 

would be nice to have info about each buy-able thing. anti luck and greedy gun really dont mean anything to me, so i dont really understand what buying more of them does.

perfectly encapsulates the feeling of being a kid and smashing your action figures together for fun. great game! art is cool, text doesnt quite fit xD the names are great!

fastest ive ever won! or i guess won? fantastic game, i keep coming back to it. so well made and the art is so charming.
