I’ve decided not to join the jam anymore. Right now, it would be too much to handle, and I really want to focus on a game I’m already making—which I actually built for a jam—so it doesn’t make sense to split my time. Thanks a lot for understanding
By the way, I hadn't noticed the thread was about Unreal. At least around here, running such a heavy program is still a bit unrealistic. If I install it on my PC, it doesn't even open the menu
Edit: To answer your question, yes, but the project depends more on the programmer's knowledge than on the tool itself.

You can try it out. It's not complete, but it's definitely much better than the version I submitted to the jam: https://boundtogether.netlify.app/ . thank for you feedback ; D
It's a great idea, but I'm sure it will have many features in the future (I plan to expand the game). I'll probably add something like an arrow pointing to the direction the symbiote is. Or maybe a skill tree to help with progression. I included the mouse information in the description, thanks for the feedback
Cons:
I would add a background filter to match the color of the blocks.
I use Linux, I don't know if it's a global shortcut, but pressing W + CTRL in the current tab closes it, making the game quite difficult. I also didn't like restarting everything; I could simply go back to the beginning without having to collect coins again.
Some enemies are unrecognizable (but I think this is more due to the graphics). I jumped on a creature and didn't even notice because it blends into the background.
Pros:
The design is well done, and I didn't encounter any notable bugs (apart from the gunshot, whose design isn't visible).
The scenery and collisions were well utilized; I found it quite fun overall. I think it could be further expanded with space mechanics, like slower gravity and the like (because of the space/alien theme).
It has a lot of different elements, and I liked the variety. Honestly, it has a lot of potential, but it needs to make the most of the space style
