Short and sweet! I enjoyed playing as Bob and escaping from my own home haha. As an added bonus, I am color blind, so there was actually a decent struggle trying to get the numbers correct on the final puzzle. Nice work!

I win!!! Woohoo!

A very, very creative game with a surprisingly high difficulty! I enjoyed the detail that went into the art and texturing of this game - I really felt like I was desperately trying to win an illegal race at midnight to pay off my debts! It took me awhile to figure out just how much mouse acceleration I had to put into the turning mechanic, but once I did it was quite fun to try and balance all the different elements of the race. I also cooked the grenade a bit too long in the beginning and killed myself a few times. At some point, I just started memorizing how long I could cook the grenade for and not really using the sound design in a meaningful way. Overall, this game was a ton of fun, and I enjoyed the creativity and the atmosphere of midnight racing. Well done!

I enjoyed blasting the orbs! I especially liked when they started swarming me, although at some point it felt like I was 1-hit even after clearing a round (not sure if there was a health regen system.) I would have liked to see a bit more clearly how the timer worked. The platforms are a great idea, and I enjoyed the maze that they created, but I could never be certain how much time I had left when they stopped moving. Maybe playing around with a health bar, audio cues, and even an ammo count/reload mechanic could add a lot of immersion into this game. I really like FPS games, and I had a lot of fun playing yours. Great work!

Nice game, I genuinely enjoyed playing! I know this was a rushed submission, so well done with the time you had! You've already gotten good feedback about obstacles/difficulty increases, game pacing, and the music not looping, all which I think would be cool to see added! One small detail that took me about 30 seconds to realize - 1x apple fully increases your time to the maximum of about 10 seconds (I immediately thought of a max ammo from COD zombies, but with time.) I wonder if the game would be a bit more challenging if the apples instead added a set amount to your timer, let's say +4 seconds, kind of like you see in racing games. Overall, I think your game was fun to play, and I enjoyed seeing my close call stats on the victory screen. Well done!

Very bitter sweet game concept and execution! I was not expecting to feel so deeply about my bug friends, but in your own words, the game is about "noticing, choosing, and letting go" which hits very hard. I really like that there's no obvious "win condition" - you do what you think is best for your insect across each day knowing that your time is limited, but not knowing by how much. I wonder if this game was inspired by caring for an elderly pet or family member, as it really brings me back to times in life where I've been in similar situations. Sorry for the mini-rant haha! Beyond the lack of audio, I would have liked to see the insect I'm caring for respond to my 3 actions between days. Even just a small animation of the insect eating my food, basking in my sunlight/shade, etc. would make my actions feel a little more impactful. I enjoyed the comfy art style, and the central notepad with all of the game info! Other than that, I really enjoyed the narrative and emotion impact of the game. I think you achieved everything you set out to with this one. Thank you for a unique and thoughtful submission!

Great concept and execution of normal vs panic phases! It took me a couple of playthroughs to get used to the ability to aim with my mouse - I was more used to only being able to shoot in the direction that I'm facing. However, I did eventually adjust and it was a good time! Grabbing a bunch of powerups and feeling my character become super powerful was very satisfying, and balancing that with a countdown worked very very well and gave the game a lot of replayability! However, I did not enjoy the zombies being able to jump down from above me super quickly, and the jumping powerups made my character jump so high that it almost felt like a debuff. By my final playthrough, my DPS powered up so much that I could just camp in the corner indefinitely during the panic phase! Great game with a lot of fun variation through the powerups, and a solid implenetation of the theme. Good work!

I really wanted to enjoy this game - as others have said the idea is super unique, and I believe it could be a very addicting game when fully fleshed out! This was a very ambitious project that just doesn't feel super good to play as it is unfortunately. I don't want to beat a dead horse, as your team has gotten a lot of good feedback that I agree with, so I will leave it at that. The art and visual presentation are so good, I really do feel like I am a settler on Mars trying to build my colony! One thing I haven't seen mentioned - I was a bit confused at first with the rhythm key mapping - E, R, and space bar made sense, but I wasn't sure about the "a" and the curvy looking "z". I did eventually figured out that it was QWER, but not sure if I'm missing something about the icons. Anyways, very ambitious game that I would love to see succeed! Well done with the time you had!

This was a very satisfying puzzle platformer! The controls are well implemented - moving around was very smooth and responsive. As everyone else has said, the feather mechanic was enjoyable and creative. The level difficulty scaled really well - from tutorial to the flappy bird stage, there were a lot of interesting ways that the game introduced challenge without feeling unfair (I loved the verticality of the penultimate level!) I think it would be cool if there was a reward, or even just a popup for when you complete a level with the most amount of feathers possible still on hand. I also agree with previous points about the feather lag for recovering in tight situations. The art was funny and cute, and I also love the story on how this game was developed. Well done!

You're welcome, happy to help! And thank you for playing/reviewing our game as well

Super fun and super fast-paced game! Like others have said, the game is really funny, but not trivial as some of those attention questions are genuinely hard - I enjoyed the challenge a lot. I like the cleverness of both the countdown on the timer for each round and literally counting down the floors. I wonder if there is a secret ending for having 0 mistakes by the 1st floor, but I don't think I have the skills to find out haha. Well done!

Simple but clever idea! I like the concept of having a hunter state and prey state that you can't control, all while having to play pacifist. The controls are very intuitive and the countdown ring was well implemented, but sometimes my mouse felt like it would slip off the screen which was a bit disruptive. The music speeding up and slowing down was a nice touch, but the track did get a bit repetitive. The SFX of the balls rolling and colliding were nice. I do also wish there was an in-game consequence for bumping into black balls in rage-mode beyond just a counter. Overall, I enjoyed your game, and the core mechanics are fun!

Really challenging puzzle game with some unforgiving timings! I enjoyed the challenge a lot, but there were some moments where an extra half second on a timer would have been more satisfying/not required perfection. The music got a little boring after a while, but I enjoyed the SFX. I ran into a collision bug on stage 7 (see image) where my character got pushed into a wall during a close encounter with a moving pillar. I stopped playing at that point. Overall, I had fun playing your game and really enjoy the concept - keep going!
