Prices lowered! Now you can get sprites for both personal and commercial use for $30 :D.

(1 edit)

Hi! I'm Hana, an artist who loves visual novels~

I'm offering sprite commissions for a fixed price: $30 waist up with 2 arm poses and 5 expressions. For an additional $10, I can draw it fullbody, and for $20 more I can deliver it as a live2d-ready file for animation.

Payment via paypal, 50% at first, and 50% for delivery of the file.

If you're interested send me an email to hanachimafu@gmail.com, or we can discuss it via discord.

Have a nice day!

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

I'm Camila. I'm a 20 year old donut from Chile.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

No. I wanted to join because I needed something like this to actually finish something TVT.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

It's kinda funny but I'm not a gamer myself....I like some mmorpgs and fighting games though. Visual Novels are fun.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

Not really....I have tried to do some stuff in Ren'py, Novelty and Tyranobuilder before but never actually finished something.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

KIM HEECHUL. I'm autistic and he's my special interest so everything I make is somehow related to him.

Have a good night everyone!

A.K.A "That visual novel I've been wanting to make since last year" Sorry if my english is rusty....

I'm autistic and I'm making a visual novel about my special interest, Kim Heechul (yeah that guy from Super Junior). The story is simple, and based on Heechul's real love for ramen. Heechul takes the role of the prince of Cherryland who is banned by his parents from all ramen places in the kingdom. In order to avoid the ban, he puts on a costume for people not to recognize him, and depending on the choices you make he will develop relationships with different people from the kingdom, and will also determine whether he gets caught by his parents or not, I'm not the most imaginative person in the world eheheh.

I'm doing this alone, the art is done by me as well.

The visual novel will be made in Tyranobuilder and will use Tyranoscript to animate the sprites a little and fix stuff. I know Tyranobuilder is not the greatest visual novel engine but it's what I have (i bought it a year ago or so and haven't released anything actually playable...) and I want to prove myself that I can make something pretty in this thing.

This will be my first time using more complex features of Tyranoscript, and actually writing a visual novel with different endings (most stuff i've done has been improvised).

My goal is to have the first chapter of the visual novel done, as a way to introduce my idea. I will update it regularly for my fellow petals (Kim Heechul fans).

What I have done in the first day:

- Heechul sprite w/2 costume options

-A text box

What I need to work on these two weeks:

-The buttons for save, load, menu (i'm using old ones I made for another vn project and I don't like them)

-The backgrounds (i'm using some backgrounds i made a year ago, and i think i can draw them better these days)

-The story (i haven't written much of it....)

-The sprites for other characters (like Gunhee, Taeyeon and Puff)

heechulallala

(fixing the character name position.....i should do that)

Looking forward to your comments and feedback! I will update this devlog with my progress of the following days.
