That's weird! I'm just playing the version I downloaded from the .zip file when I bought the game. T_T (Idk if it matters but the zip I downloaded is TheFailureEvenDeathRejects-1.0-pc and I'm playing the TheFailureEvenDeathRejects.exe file. I'm not sure what you mean by playing in Renpy, clicking the .exe file is how I play all my Itch games.)

I figured out what the issue is. It says, "I have the key. I should try using it." Even if you don't have the key. Because it told me I already had a key, I didn't look for another puzzle. But once I found the book puzzle, it let me through. The message should probably say something like, "I need to find the key" instead, because otherwise people will stop looking for clues and try to figure out where their key they "should try using" is, haha.

Also very minor but since I'm at that part, there's a typo after you finish: "Looks like I have collected eveything."

Are you going to use him in other projects? He's too pretty for just one game lol.

I loved it so much! Btw, in one of Jonas' chats he tells you that the dev's blessing actually reduces the strength of MC's ability to attract people, is that why everyone goes yandere in this game if you pick the "return" ending? Because without the dev's blessing, everyone's affection for you just becomes full on obsession? If that's so, would you ever consider doing another AU where we get to see how the ADW main cast would react to you losing the dev's blessing? (I want to see yandere Lor lol.)

Just finished the game and I did not expect them *all* to be mentally unstable lmao. I LIKE IT. (RIP to my baby boy Lor though, seeing him in jail hurt. T_T)

Why did your killer kiss your corpse? And the narration hints he did love MC....but there's not a real explanation of why he killed. Like it hints he was jealous of (spoiler) but that's it. Also I wish we got Avery's POV. :(

i can excuse (potential) serial killing but i draw the line at not training your pets. and "they're not like that around me!" isn't a good excuse, it's literally saying "i never trained them to be around other ppl" 😤  i wanna break up with soren just because of the dog lmao.

i love this premise, it gives me revenge manhwa / webtoon vibes. i'm excited for the update T_T 

i don't have feedback on the story, more technical things. the transitions are REALLY slow. like at one point i thought the story just cut off at the middle of the page and then 2 seconds later the next passage appeared. i think it's better to have no transitions whatsoever or have the option to turn them off. (i thought this is what "timed passages" were in settings, but turning that off didn't affect it)

also instead of click through responses, can u do drop downs? if u miss one, u then have to click through every single response T_T

i'd also recommend including [end of demo] because i can't tell if i'm at a transition bug (another reason why i loathe transitions), or if this is the end of the content:

I was trying to read Tang Ruo's POV, and got this error: "Couldn't load scene 'povs.' The file doesn't exist." :(

I noticed that MC's gender is often switched to male, even when you're playing as female. Ex: "You, dogs, got lucky that Senior Sister is so generous. If I was in his place, I would've broke your legs!"

I also picked male for Lu Shu (I think that was their name, the person you meet in danger zone), and their pronouns sometimes show up as "she/her."

I enjoyed this! But is it possible to up the contrast for the text? The gray text on black background strains my eyes to read. :( Maybe a lighter gray?

Deleting the files in the %AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ folder worked! Thank you! And it was my first time playing and the tutorial did pop up. I think it's just one of those random things, haha. Again, thank you so much! 

Does anyone have the issue that they can't click anything? When I get the first prompt to select a dialogue option, nothing happens. :/ I tried restarting and redownloading too.
