Of course that's fair! I look forward to any project you decide to put out in the future.

Also, just a tip, as someone who's also done the "paper-drawn characters on a digital medium" thing before - the biggest problem right now is that your pictures are not very well lit. So I would try to get some good lighting, and playing with the brightness and contrast of the drawings in paint.net or something so the background is more white and the lines are more black. I would even consider using a magic wand tool to isolate the lines from the background!

Thank you, this is so sweet of you to say! I hope you enjoy my stuff too!!! Also, I'm really sorry that they took you off the jam. I understand why but I feel like they should have made an exception for you. This is such a sweet love letter to the act of making FVNs and I kinda think this not being in the Novembuck jam specifically diminishes the point.

Fair point about the bonus scenes! So what I meant by internalisation of ableism refers to how Millie has extreme self hatred of herself and perceives herself to be worthless and how a lot of this is her taking in what other people say about her and choosing to believe they are correct. I thought that was something that is actually rather common for disabled people so it was interesting to see!

Incredible and inspiring. I'm typically a fan of meta "art about art" stories and this one was a fun, self-aware sorta-ramble about your processes. There's a lot of great humour wrapped around this meta work, and it made me really feel like I was on discord and you were my friend trying to explain to me what you've been doing the past month with this game jam. And I absolutely love the ending! I make art because I want to see more art that is like my favourite works of art. I really really hope that just like how Keith's video inspired you, this game inspires someone out there to make their own visual novel in another jam someday!

Oh and your voice is super nice!!!

Alright I gave Unending Vapidness a shot and came back to this one! I think you've made some improvements since the last one, and personally I like the paper art style you have going on, it's cool! Also damn. This needs a cuckoldry tag (JOKING). I'm not gonna lie, I've kind of been in this situation before??? At least, having a friend turn me down and remaining platonic partners and etc. And yes, even the sex in the other room thing. it is indeed kind of arousing to be in that spot. So yeah painfully relatable to me lol. Honestly I would like a third story with these two and give them some proper closure, maybe have Lilia find someone who likes her back or something. However I'd be excited for any future projects too!

This was extremely very very cute!!! I love the art style and the UI is so slick as well. I guess my one point of feedback would be that not much really happens. Willow mentions battles and magical powers and I feel like we didn't see any of that stuff! I would love to see more of these characters and this world though, it's very adorable and nice!

This was so cute!!! I love the retro anime art style, the amount of CGs in this is really impressive. I felt like I was reading a manga or watching a slice of life episode in an 80s anime. I also love that Olive is kind of the cool type but she also goes crazy for gacha I think that's super cute and gap moe. Really nice job!

Damn is this the Toxic Yuri Jam instead?! This was pretty great though, I like how brutal and raw it gets. Some feedback I have is that there are some typos, like using "your" instead of "you're" and even the first choice's second option doesn't make grammatical sense, though if you are ESL I can understand why that is the case. Overall, the writing could use some touching-up, like using more commas and periods to make sure sentences don't just end randomly or go on for a while. The art is pretty good too btw!

God I'm not going to lie. This one was devastating and hard to get through. There's a lot of relatable thoughts here and you put some of these thoughts beautifully into writing. There's a lot of forms that grief can take - and one of them is anger, which I feel like is an unspoken emotion because of how ugly it feels. Anger at the world for being unfair, anger at the victim for leaving you, anger at yourself for not being able to save them. It's honestly not fucking fair that us trans girls have to go through these things. I don't see these deaths as suicide, they are homicide by an unjust world we live in. This story is absolutely uncompromising and raw in its portrayal of grief and suicidal thoughts and I respect you heavily for that. I'm sorry for your loss and I want you to know this is a beautiful work of art you've created for Ari.

Really promising project so far!!! I love it (The music is BANGING!!!)

This one was very lovely! And got pretty heartbreaking as well. I really didn't think I would end up loving Eloise by the end but the writing was really cute and she won me over eventually. I got what I assume is one of the more hopeful endings, but I think it's a nice thing that despite the tragic nature, it's still a hopeful and comforting story. The character art is also so pretty, with some beautiful CGs and backgrounds as well! Also Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" was mentioned which is one of my favourite plays ever, so plus for that!

This one was both hilarious and endearing. The first line kind of kicks it off with the right kind of expectations, I think. The protagonist is basically Tomoko from Watamote which I think is really funny. There's sort of a "chronically online" vibe to the writing which to me at least was pretty charming but it won't be for everyone. It feels like one of those weird self-aware comedy manga about NEETs, like Watamote or maybe more aptly Welcome to the NHK. The art is also really cute and I really like the sketchy style.

"As a kid, I wanted to be a mangaka. As an adult, I want to die." Same, Utsuko!

Oh this was really lovely. I love furry yuri!!! The writing is really cute and I like that the narration sometimes bursts into all-caps ramblings. I also thought it was really interesting how the priest character was surprisingly accurately written - I wasn't raised Catholic or anything, but I was raised in a Christian cult so yeah they kind of are all like this.

The art is also wonderful, and I love the style that it has. Reading this felt like I was reading a very well-made Yuri manga, which is a great height to achieve as far as I'm concerned. My only complaint of course is that it is toooo short!!!! It does say early version though, so I can't wait for this to get some more updates :)

This is a really well written, heartbreaking story about grief. It's also a deeply political story about the failures of bureaucracy and capitalism! I mean, these girls are literally living in the slums, and the first thing the police does is check if they are undocumented or not (which they are wrong on). It's a tragic story about how these systems, these networks and people in power, constantly dehumanize queer and poor folks and let us down. I felt absolutely sick watching just how bad it gets for these women, which I think was the point. ACAB for fucking real. It almost got comical with the funeral section, which I'm not sure was the point, actually.

In a way, this is a straight up short story with sparse visual elements, although the little sprites that do show up help flesh out the characters more. There is virtually no dialogue and I think that makes for a quite unique and interesting entry. The prose itself is exceptional, and I felt like I had picked up a really well written book at the library. And in the end, it left me with a harrowing feeling in my stomach. Really exceptional work!

This was so lovely and sweet! An extremely endearing story of trans friendship and love. I could feel the characters really come alive though their dialogue. I love all of them, but especially Lavender. I love her punk no shits given attitude. Surprisingly, despite being the POV character, I thought Rosemary felt like the least developed voice out of everyone. Still, this VN does such a FANTASTIC job at portraying this trans friend group as something that feels like that could really exist. I love the bit near the beginning about found family and relationships - so many of my friend group dynamics also feel like this, crossing between romantic, platonic, familial and everywhere in between. It's so rare to see that be portrayed!

Something I'd like to say, though, is that there is an option to skip the sex scene, which I don't think was necessary. The scene itself is super well written, and beyond the sex parts, it has some very important characterization that I don't think should be skipped. Of course I respect the artistic vision but I think letting people skip this kind of content can feel like appealing to an audience who isn't going to like your stories anyway!

Oh, and the art is really cute too of course, I really enjoyed the little portraits everyone had. Also the MUSIC!!!! God it bangs so good, especially that main menu theme, I need this shit on Bandcamp RIGHT NOW. Overall this has been my favourite Yuri Game Jam 2025 entry so far!!! Super cute and life affirming.

This was not what I expected! I went in for "old woman yuri" and got something chilling instead.

Spoilers of course - I think you should play it yourself!

But this is a surprisingly eerie and haunting horror short story. The twist hit me like a brick, honestly, and I really enjoyed the sudden switch-up in tone. I think a straightforward reading of this is still pretty terrifying, the classic tale of a woman trying to resurrect her lover, with monkey's paw curling behind her. But my interpretation is that it's likely both of these characters may be under the influence of dementia and psychosis. In a way, I interpreted this as a story about how sometimes "illness" (in this case, dementia) can take away the very thing that makes us us, and how we try to justify it when that happens to the people we love. Also I really dig the art and the cute style was a great build-up to the horrifying tone switch at the end. Really good job!

This was a very interesting story with some cool things to ponder over! I'm a lover of science-fiction and cyberpunk fiction, and this story seem to tackle transhumanism in particular. The elephant in the room of course is that this VN is very sparse with its visuals - it's more apt to call it a short story with some music in it as well. (By the way, the music is pretty good for being what I assume to be stock music! I liked the track during "The Competitor") However I didn't really mind this at all, although it could be a dealbreaker for some. The only thing I find to be a shame is that the concept art shown after the ending is super promising and great looking, and I wish the creator had incorporated them into the VN somehow, even if they were just a single sprite for each character.

As for the story, I feel like it was about how we dehumanise disabled people and how even disabled folks themselves internalise their ableism. My take on it is that while Vanessa is an open bigot who freely steals from the weak, Sam is equally toxic in that they feel extremely posessive over Millie and doesn't really seem to view her as a person. But I do have some criticisms - first, the dialogue is very stilted, and it could have been more smooth. Second, the story proper is too short to fully explore some of these themes, and the "bonus scenes" could have easily been incorporated into the main story. Anyway I thought this was a cool entry that definitely could've been improved upon even more!

This one caught my eye because of the creator's comment that they were inspired from the works of Hong Sangsoo! It's not often that a furry VN is inspired by an acclaimed filmmaker from my home country. I was introduced to Hong's work by his latest film, "What Does That Nature Say to You." So I can't say I'm an expert on his work, however I can definitely see the inspirations and parallels in this work. There's something homely and intimate about this dialogue between these characters that make me feel very comforted. I am a lover of "art about art" and the meta premise was very cool imo. There's also something about a Finnish written work inspired by Korean cinema translated into English that makes this for a really interesting diverse set of influences. Really loved this one and found it interesting!

I really loved this! The character writing is super cute and the artwork and psychedelic animations were really nice. I also like the music, my fav track was the last one during the credits :)

Hello, requesting my game "Blast Damage Days" to be reindexed. Here's the link: https://cecilyrenns.itch.io/blast-damage-days

Thank you so much!!! A lot of people pointed out the novel mode text feels awkward and clunky, I didn't have enough time to iron out the technicalities sadly but if I make a continuation I would love to stylize it a bit more. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you!!! I would love to make a continuation and write a proper conclusion for these characters. Also yeah my wife is from Orange County, New York and I actually stayed there for a few months last summer haha

Middletown

Thank you for the feedback!!! It's certainly not a story for everyone, maybe it was too specifically meant for a particular demographic, but I'm really glad you managed to enjoy it regardless. :D

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback, I also thought that the presentation was really rough and sparse, I couldn't find time to really flesh some things out. Thank you again!!!! :D

Thank you so much!!!! I'm proud of the music haha
