Oh goodness thank you for catching that. I spent the last 24 hours so focused on all the other little fixes I completely forgot to test the pause menu. And honestly no need to apologize, I'm just happy you tried my silly little game out.

Anyways the menu should be fixed now, phew!

I don't know what to say other then wow

I want to add that I liked clicking the nodes more then using WASD to move. It felt more satisfying and better to control.

Wow this is a really neat concept. It took me a second to fully understand, and a dedicated tutorial section where the player can try and capture a single bug (and save others? I'm still not sure on how to do that) would help there. Ultimately the game-play loop is strong enough to stand on its own tho and with time I was able to understand the basic concepts. The more unfortunate part was the aspect ratio, which showed up a bit to small on my screen, so the finer details of the interesting art were a big lost, and some of the words in the opening screen were hard to make out.

You can reset by pausing the game with escape and clicking reset.

This was a blast!
Loved the concept and art, and the upgrade therapy sessions were fun to play out, plus the remedy bottles for upgrades made me giggle. Fun simple game-play loop that had me surprisingly invested and wanting to continue. I think you could add certain traps or roadblocks and it would elevate the gamey feel that is already pretty ingrained in the design. I think the design choice of roads leading you to pockets of destruction is smart and helps the player a lot. Overall a really great project!

Interesting concept. The breathing noises kept catching me off guard because I thought they were coming from my room at first.
