We do!

Glad you made it.

I visited space! Rad!

(1 edit)

Is the game currently playable?

I hit the buttons to build woodcutters and build farms but nothing seems to happen afterwards.

Edit: Okay I figured it out. You have to click "move on" then things happen when you come back around to the original location.

This is lovely. The only thing missing is a bridge to cross over the water tiles.

The art style is great!

Nice. Pretty funny. :D

It seems to work

How do you add more people to your exploration crew?

nice

Time for some nice relaxing target practice in some peaceful woods.

That's a lot of arrows.

Yeah, the bunker almost feels like a noob trap because it rarely pays off big to invest in it. I've had a few good chains going off of it but it's really lucky if investing in bunkers pays off or not as far as I can tell.

One thing that helps is not to bury them in the ground too much though since at least you can profit from putting habitats against them which you can't do if they're isolated in the ground.

Man, that would be sweet.

This is such a fun game.

I wish I could scroll back up and look at everything that was built once the game is over. I'd love to be able to see the crazy underwater construction that gets made over the course of the game.

Thanks!

I don't know why they even have that because it interferes with so many games on this website.

Many Daves sacrificed their lives to destroy the portal to hell.

Yeah, that would better for sure.

neat!

I really wish I could sell artifacts because the ones that add fire and poison just suck and basically only give you more chances to miss instead of doing damage.

Thanks!

Very cool!

One thing it needs is a "CONFIRM" button before firing the ball. The number of times I slipped off my chosen trajectory just before pushing the button to fire is a bit annoying.

Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be any way to actually get to the house before the game just decides that you didn't make it. Even when I left the creepy guy in the dust the game would cut out just before I made it to the house saying I didn't make it and even if I never turned around to look at him I'd lose too. Not sure if there's a way to make it to the house or if the player just doesn't "make it" no matter what you do.

Nice environment, shadows, and music with mysterious vibes.

I suspect that's the end but I'm not sure.

It was interesting but after getting to floor 58 it's just too tedious to make any progress.

I went up and down past floor 50  several times but I'm not wasting any more time on this.

Find the camera, see there's no power to the camera, go find the power cord and plug in the camera, then go back to look at the camera again.

I found the monorail and went for a ride.

I too want to fit through the windows.

This is perfectly normal Bejeweled. Nothing strange or out of the ordinary here. Yep. Nothing unusual at all. Nope. No sir. Just the regular old Bejeweled that you know and love. That's it. Yep.

The artwork for the creepy looking country folk is great. I loved the tall guy who came looking for his brother. Great atmosphere overall.

It's fun but the game is very strict with the "card game" aspect of the game play. I wish it was a bit more relaxed and game the player more freedom to express themselves and build out the island instead of having to be so strictly focused on strategy.

I enjoyed the game a lot. It's like a nice pared-down Resident Evil style horror game. I finished with one health left and no healing items remaining. That was a bit tense.

*potential spoilers below*

I had to reload the game a couple times on the last hallway full of monsters and barely had enough ammo to finish them while I had one health point left. Thankfully I still had some ammo because I ran away from the monsters in the shotgun room instead of fighting them.

I probably would have liked a bit more margin for error with maybe at least one more healing item and ammo but I made it through so maybe it's fine.

It would be cool if there were some hidden supplies the player could find. (Maybe there are and I just never found them!)

Thanks for the response!

Those definitely sound like some good features to add to the game. I'm looking forward to what you do next for sure!

This is a really fun game and I love the aesthetics and the unique approach to a slimmed down exploration/4x kind of game.

So far the only major problem is that I don't understand the AI players' disposition towards me and when I should expect an attack. Sometimes the AI players seem very aggressive and attack right away and sometimes they seem to be content to coexist for most of the game. I'm not sure if they just attack whenever I'm weaker than them or if they have random "moods" towards me or whatever.

Also when I first started playing the game I didn't understand what was happening when an AI player attacked because there's no message or anything indicating you are under attack from another player so from a new player's perspective it just seems like whatever the last action they took suddenly resulted in a battle that causes their camp/city to burn down without warning.

But otherwise I'm really enjoying this game! It's a great idea and it has a really nice charm to it.
