This is an extremely promising game! I did ran into some UI issues due to my unusual monitor resolution (16:10, 1440x900) such as the keypad not being exitable or the ending scene lacking the speed buttons due to all of them being out of the screen (I was able to check and know all of this with the help of UnityExplorer), but I've seen other people bring this up anyway. The game itself is very interesting and I am excited to see more of it. I've gotten pretty close to solving the puzzle but I struggled a lot with the "j" and still don't fully understand the logic behind the puzzle, I think this might need some tweaking. And side note: The art is seriously impressive!

Super late response but; don't worry, the jumpscare happens only if you're too fast and click one of the opinions, Neu will interrupt your choice a tiny bit after they show up and the route will continue. (The route still continues if you activate the jumpscare anyway)

Awesome game! The art style is very cute and fits well with the feel of the game. The story is surprisingly engaging, can't wait for more!

It's written everywhere that there are both a free and paid version, even the download page tells you so. Not sure where is the problem in that, especially considering the art style's quality

You need to make drinks of the same kind (rum, vodka, whiskey)

Upvote for the trash can racoon

Try to explore more and collect stuff, you'll eventually find it

I have been trying to look for games but it's very hard to avoid the flood of games like Visual novels and was wondering if there was an updated way to do this old expired technique.

Sorry to ask but how do you finish the 3rd level? I'm still stuck at it and can't figure out what to do

You can do "Alt+Enter" to go Fullscreen (sorry for being so late, hope it helps still)

It's very good! I'm really not into horror games as I get scared extremely easily and don't like to be too, but this game isn't too over the top with horror. Very well appreciated this. Pretty unfortunate that the source code was lost but I'm definitively looking forward to that remake. I was thinking you could perhaps decompile the game somehow to recover a large portion of the game, but I haven't looked into this solution myself.

Anyway, here's some feedback after this wall of text:

  • Graphics are pretty good, them not being too complex but enough to have details is a big plus
  • It feels somewhat confusing or slow at times, especially when trying to find the last few totems
  • I struggled at the start to know what to do. I at first thought the totems were cobwebs and didn't bother doing anything with them for a good while
  • I believe I saw your response concerning checkpoints and that the lack of them was intentional, but I really think it could make the game be much more appealing to a bunch of players if an option to have a checkpoint when entering the dark forest was available
  • I actually really like that the birch demon can be stopped at any distance as long as you look in her direction, no matter if actual sight is present
