Great concept!

If I can leave some feedback, you have a nice easy to understand concept and theme. Although once you start on the gameplay, it's a bit difficult to correlate the many text elements written on the page with the right or wrong answer system, sometimes feeling like it doesn't matter whether I read them or not and it's sort of a 50/50 guess as to which set of good and bad things will net a wrong point.

Potentially some explanation at the start would help, and or an option to bring the page up to the front of the screen which would then give some incite as to the wrongs and rights of the person you are dealing with.

Lastly in games like this, you typically want a large variety of blatantly obvious answers to give the player some confidence, then you sprinkle in difficult decisions to mix the gameplay and keep the player on there toes. Possibly giving them easy options at first, and gradually adding harder choices.

I do love 2.5D art styles and think the effects in the doorways was a great touch, keep up on the game dev journey :D

(Also feel free to leave feedback on my jam page I'd love to hear your thoughts)

I got you

thank you!

thanks!

Exactly where the inspiration came from! Thanks!

thanks!

I agree, if development on this game goes further that would be the first major update.

Thanks you too!

My favorite Jam submission so far, really having a blast with this one.

Thanks!

thank you for the feedback

Nice design, I wish the movement was a bit more responsive and a little more forgiving around obstacles. Upgrade system worked well

Nice visuals, I felt the movement was slow maybe adding in a buffer system so if the player already pressed a direction it will move so it does feel so tough to move. But over all a good game.

Fun game, the rooms felt good to run through and puzzles weren't to intense. I felt the shop was a bit confusing and could be simplified.

I had an issue with the first obelisk, but fun game overall.

Thanks! You'll need keys to get to the doors

Thank you!

Thank you!

Yes that is a bug I did not have time to squash but will fix on the first update.

A good looking game, the amount of enemies felt very overwhelming. But I like the sprite work in the game.

Great use of the theme, from what I remember from the original flappy bird this is a good recreation and actually a better rendition with use of the them from this jam. Great work.

A fun game, feels similar to 20 mins to dawn and vampire survivors. I liked the waves system and the upgrade system but the upgrades needed a bit more balancing for example buying health felt unnecessary when you lose it later and speed damage and attack speed are just to good. I would also have replaced the white border image it's tough on the eyes. A good submission overall.

Great gameplay, the balance between affording your life and affording things to make living better is done well and it never felt like any purchase I made wasn't important. I did run into a pretty big bug where all the money stopped moving down the conveyer belt so I just died due to no money coming in. Other than that a good submission.

I like the idea of using money to upgrade the turret, with more options and more impactful effects this would be a fantastic mechanic. Good work.

I really liked the art style of this game, the shader used to give it a toy feel works really well and all the fun playful textures and colors make for a nice feel.  Movement was good, I would work on making a more natural feeling jump and add in a bit less gravity drag down. I got a little stuck after getting to the moving platforms, so maybe a bit more direction and instruction would be good. Overall a great submission.
