havent read a vn that oozed style like this since seams and senses! the characters are so expressive with their faces and movements and the color and texture of each scene is used perfectly to set the mood as zoey remembers it. fun how it felt like reading a comic book too with the nvl font and the inset panels (god that sex scene) and the halftone patterning. i really struck a chord with  zoeys character in this feeling static and disconnected like the fuzzy texture that covers bits of her memories but also static and never changing while others move on in their lives without her in the most hollow tragic and entirely banal way. her character also makes for an interesting psyche to present the story through i loved the way her memory fragments are presented nonlinearly  (emotionally it made the ending hit harder too) and her thoughts switching between overthought and spacing out and her instinctive running away from any uncomfortable situation or conflict in her childhood or "present" and her mental model of cherrys character misconceived from desperation and envy (while cherry is also doing the exact same thing with her) its good its good thank you for this

this was some painful stuff between relating too much to parvin and her helplessness and her friction fraught relationship with her exact foil of a cute but abrasive girl who tries and fails to help her in such a strangling society. all the elements work so well this ones going to stick with me

wow the sitcomy vibes of the opening with its upbeat music and cute paper sprites and funny dialogue completely disarmed me for how dreadful this would become. really excellent usage of tone the bathroom dissociation was particularly upsetting to me

this goes insano style on so many levels as always your writing is so tight and cohesive and these characters are just the best. when stephanie frame one put her hand on her chest and stared hellen right in the face saying my pronouns are she her i immediately knew oh she has to die. really loved the cgs too that along with the story got progressively more detailed (until you can see hellen giving them the stink eye at the mall lol) the lonely dog boiling line effect complements the pencil sketch aesthetic that gives the (back)story scenes such an;;; idyllic quality. and that ending with the superimposition ????  cant believe how much you all killed it with this one

just the title alone was enough to immediately entrance but those raised expectations were completely shattered after reading this holy shit. the question of if a broken person can be fixed is one thing and if they can fix themselves is another and here erin is being given a chance no one else could ever have and rejects the question entirely. i loved watching her lose herself in herself thanks for reproducing all my worst thoughts and fantasies right in front of me and in the hottest way possible

toxic to more toxic to heartfelt this was such a wonderful read !! like with ride home i love the life you give your characters and how the story is shaped by their incomplete perspectives. if not for being a chaser ivy'd have the perfect girl right here..

beyond incredible. i loved benns impressive visuals in hollow hearts (funny how both end in flames) and she really outdid herself here. the theater set pieces (particularly liked the parallax chairs and intense stage lights) are used so well to reinforce the vns theatrical feel. immaculate writing too the understudy is such a perfect dramatic-soliloquy character and i could really feel her pain from the vile mutual resentment with the lead. i love it when two women cry-scream at each other and now its been made twice as efficient. major innovations in toxic yuri nuclear energy generation.  thank you for such a showstopping performance !!
