We are currently running a playtests for a new version of our prototype called "Where’s My Dad?".

Imagine A Hat in Time meets Lost Ember: a cute action‑puzzle adventure game. Reviving the style of a retro classic 3D platformer, you play as a girl who has just died and become a magical spirit, possessing different animals to solve puzzles. Try to possess a human, and you’ll face a boss protecting their mind, all to help Mom find Dad.

The bubble level was fun to play and built up nicely. It would've been better if the final level had been just as good.

I haven't got it right yet, in the very short time trying it out I haven't really figure out how to determine it's stress level. But I do like the idea that the specimen is invisible but I can kinda see it moves around(?)

Lovely artstyle <3 and interesting story so far! (I haven't finished it yet, but I am planning to try it again when I have the time after the jam) I heard you're gonna make a full release eventually? If that's the case I wish you good luck!

Using 2D in a 3D world like this is a cool idea! It's not polished yet of course but it's a fun concept regardless and I enjoyed it :D Glad I can bring the cat home!

I found myself smiling at the end XD I was a bit confused in the beginning but slowly figured out the controls and what I can do as this... delivery man hahah. Great submission man, it was fun!

Really cool environment and enemies design! I am kinda confused with the ending tho, it seems very abrupt and it doesn't tease anything about what the game really is about (I assume the ending is the screenshot that I shoed here? I hope I didn't just kill the slime at the end T.T) Also the double jump could be a tad bit more sensitive/faster, sometimes I feel like the double jump doesn't respond as fast as I want it to. 

*also I didn't realize that I can kill the enemies lol, I have been dodging them all the way until the end XD

Played and rated! Love the vibe and visuals of this one, and I love the way the flashlight works as well, kinda pushing the fog or something like that instead of just lighting the area. The way you light the giant monster makes it looks kinda like a shadow puppet of sort I like it!

I didn't get to finish the game yet, got stuck on the chase scene cause the input lag when I need to jump which is really frustrating. Also I got stuck for a while in the beginning cause I accidentally skip the item interaction tutorial. The chase music is cool but when I got respawned after dying for the first time to the giant monster music just... stopped which is kinda sad haha.

Overall love the concept of this, curious what happen to the dog and might get back to try this again! Cheers :D

Play and rated! I like the concept of playing with rover, the physics, the looks and the "drift" feels when moving it is nice too!

The controls using mouse and keyboard is pretty awkward for me cause I kinda expecting to be able to move the 3rd person camera using mouse but since the mouse is only used for the rover camera control it becomes kinda awkward to turn around. My suggestion would be using hold left/right click while moving the mouse to move the rover camera, so that the normal mouse movement could still be used to control the third person camera and make the movement less awkward.  Although it seems that the current controls system is optimized more for controllers atm, so maybe next time I'll try it with a controller too hahah.

Oh and if there's an update where you can chase and take a picture of a moving target or maybe some kind of weird "lifeform" that would be sick too hahah, cheers!

Thanks for clarifying, that was not a bug but I believe it's more of a clarity issue of the tutorial. In that moment the controls were indeed all locked unless you aim your cursor at the highlighted circle target and pressing the right mouse button to zip following the tutorial (assuming that's where you got stuck at.) Sorry for the inconvenience!

*edit: We just uploaded a patch to fix this problem, hopefully now you won't get stuck in this part :D

I see, was there a tutorial like this after you possessed the caterpillar? I hope it's okay if I ask you more questions btw hahah thanks!

Thanks for playing! When u possess the caterpillar for the first time, there should be a dialogue that says "I'm Stuck" for a brief moment and there is a way to free the caterpillar from that situation :D I hope you can try again and experience the caterpillar. 

And thanks for the report! We'll address this clarity issue in the next patch.
