Thanks for clarifying, that was not a bug but I believe it's more of a clarity issue of the tutorial. In that moment the controls were indeed all locked unless you aim your cursor at the highlighted circle target and pressing the right mouse button to zip following the tutorial (assuming that's where you got stuck at.) Sorry for the inconvenience!
*edit: We just uploaded a patch to fix this problem, hopefully now you won't get stuck in this part :D
