in 10MB??? the 3d engine i'm using already puts like ~100MB of scaffolding and this is a whole experience ok this is impressive bro im inspired ;_;

for a yappergame there sure was a lot more rollin around and t-posin :P anyway nice 3d stuff! i liked the art and the music was cute. some of the challenges at the end were more open ended and crammed together which fair we really only had a month.

nice work! i am amazed you fit a bunch of enemies and a couple of bosses in there in such a short time span.

oooh i like this page theming. also it took a moment for me to realize left mouse button activated the first powerup. i still couldn't figure out what the second powerup did or how to activate it tho, and at the end i just ended up in what looked like a boss area but i didn't trigger a boss...

(1 edit)

don't have a controller on me rn, but just wanted to note for linux users that you may have to `chmod +x 'diamond heist LINUX.x86_64' ` before running it or else your system may think it's a file that another program opens.

EDIT: just figured out IJKL works for face buttons so i used that. nice concept! i did not die ever so i guess the health upgrades are not really useful yet. also i really wanted to find the bubble upgrade but i couldn't, i did figure out some tricks that might be used to sequence break tho cuz this one section where i was freezing the big skeleton i could not jump on the big skeleton so i just ended up doing another thingy that didn't seem intended.

omg i like the way the level material fades in the distance, very classic look. first time i booted up a session(?) i bombed myself into the level geometry i think??? and then the camera started glitching out on me it was kinda a weird experience. anyway, good going! nice to see y'all produce something even with time limitations.

Truueee!! Anyway nice game! Always glad to see somebody really go for it with 3d

yah i was ready to kill 8)

Tbh I actually liked the suspense of figuring out how the genre would be executed, you explained it fine in the description though I just didn't read it until after I had killed the boss lol

a queer vampire??? owo

i couldn't activate the gravity flip though, even after that platforming section >_<

F to activate! i couldn't figure out how to use the last powerup tho. also found the big enemy but it didn't activate...?

aw heck yeah i liked the music, especially the one where your running out of time triggers it

i've managed to stunlock and kill all the enemies i could find so far! i also got the lantern. also i discovered pressing shift will release da bomb. however i could not for the life of me figure out how to continue after this.

the voice acting is *chef's kiss*, and i managed to kill the group of stabbers, you know the ones. i didn't realize how it was a metroidvania until after i killed the first boss i encountered, which was neat.

nice very ambitious for your first game! i liked the way the text boxes typed out the text and then untyped the text out. took a moment for me to realize that i was supposed to pickup the pickaxe but i got thru this one.

Are you running in Safari? I forgot to mention that I've only tested in Firefox and Chrome and don't expect it to run in Safari...

hey game says "RGSS-RTP Standard not found." and won't open... how to fix this?

holy mother of content, that was a lot. i have gotten into some weird states though. towards the end i might've been soft-locked at the part with the three keys? or maybe it was because i didn't notice the door opening before. i ended up tripping all over the map before resetting and running to the same point. anyway, nice game!

wow, what a concept. nice mouth noises, really adds to the gamefeel along with all the particle effects and little animations. i spent a solid couple of hours wandering this game. it feels really compact as an experience, and the last gem i had to solve felt really appropriate serendipitously.

pro-tip zoom in on this page for all the delicious pixels. the sound is awesome, much respect for making a tiny thingy. i felt like the level design worked well too, wearing the metroid inspiration on its sleeve. that cat nearlyy ended one of my runss!

ah yes finally figured out the inventory was at the top of the screen after downloading... nice lil' adventure evoked nostalgia and spookiness

not me yelling at my dying mom to f off

dang really thought i could pack the gay flag

unfortunately im drowning in debt by the end :c at least i saved a couple of cats

opening sequence was drawing me in but the game crashed. i tried it again and it worked but i suck at first person so had a friend play, it was neat, not sure if game is meant to be pitch black and unresponsive at some point though. very nice graphics

i watched the red cube float towards me for a minute before it ate me and my cpu

cute lil game!

didn't figure out consistently parenting a node until i figured out that the node text is the dropzone and not the whole box, anyway nice, last level was tricky

i hacked the humans im a cat meow

i feel like i was able to wreck all the enemies by spinning my compound into them, anyway nice art

i finally managed to get thru all the levels, nice work yall

unfortunately couldn't run it even after downloading ms redistributable...

had to download both things separately but it worked alright, not sure what is up with the jaggies tho, getting pixel art to work in godot can be tricky, anyway i got to like 300 and the game ended so yea

nice interesting mechanics, really liked throwing me bots around

whodunnit tho???

those chasers... they get me everytime

wow i kicked many nails

that game over sound was worth it alone

dang that dude t-posed me into a corner and i couldn't bite :c
