Thanks so much for playing, and for your feedback - it's massively appreciated!

Yeah, it was a bit of a mad dash to get something functional for submission, so I'm quite pleased with the end result. That said, there's definitely a few areas I want to tighten up on, and the dictionary is one of the bigger areas in that respect! I'll be looking into what's causing this particular issue and fixing it for the next release, so I really appreciate the feedback here to put it on my radar! I think I'll be adding a way for the player to open the game's dictionary for reference, so hopefully that'll address that concern you've noted around "what words will it actually have"

Thanks so much for the feedback, really means a lot!

Thanks so much for your kind words, really appreciate your feedback!

Hope you enjoyed your time with the game!

Tell me about it; I was drawing a total blank when testing it last minute! I'll be looking at the difficulty when I tweak it for the next release, so hopefully I can find some ways to balance it out a little!

Thanks so much for playing and for leaving feedback!

Thanks so much for the feedback - I'm glad to hear you had fun, especially with the cheating!

Thanks so much for your feedback - I think I definitely need to polish up the interception mechanics a little, as they're not as clear as I would like. I'll certainly look at them for the next release to get them to a better state. Also, really appreciate the feedback on the audio issue, I hadn't encountered that myself but I'll add it to the list to get it fixed.

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback!

That's very kind, thank you so much! Yeah I have had a couple of comments saying that the host words didn't seem to be valid, so I'll be looking into why that is happening and fixing it for the next release - thank you so much for flagging it here though, I really appreciate the feedback!

I based the letter generation on the original ruleset for the inspiration format, but I'll be adding a random selection function for the next release to speed up play and make it a bit more accessible.

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and for leaving such great feedback, massively appreciate it!

(PS. had a busy day with work, but your game is on my list to play and review today!)

Thanks so much, I appreciate that! Yeah, it was a bit of a mad dash at the last minute - pretty pleased with it as a first effort! Should have an update fairly soon, so I hope you'll play again soon!

Thanks very much for your kind words and for the feedback - I will definitely look into the issue with the host words, as I have had another comment to the same effect and I'll need to fix it to ensure it's fair in all game modes. Will have it fixed in the next update!

Thanks so much!

That's very kind, thank you so much! I also had the same reminder, as I was going totally blank trying to test it before release. Great feedback on the switching between modes, and I will be sure to address that in the next update!

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback!

Thanks so much for your feedback! I've had a few comments to this effect, and it's really great feedback so I massively appreciate it - I'll be looking at the dictionary referencing in the next update, so I should hopefully have a fix for this in the next update.

Really appreciate you taking the time to play and feedback, so thank you so much!

Don't we all haha? Thanks so much for your feedback, hope you enjoyed your time with it!

Thanks so much for your feedback, and for your kind words! Hope you enjoyed your time with it!

You're not alone there, don't you worry! I'm glad you had fun with it, and thanks so much for taking the time to leave feedback!

I'm also quite terrible at them, so logically I decided to make one haha! Thanks so much for your kind words, really appreciate your feedback!

Yeah it's definitely a challenge, and I certainly struggled more than my fair share when testing before release! Pretty pleased with what I pulled together given the time, so I really appreciate your feedback. I'll be polishing and updating some of the content in the next release, so I hope you'll give it another go then!

Thanks so much!

I won't lie, I was flat out of time and went for the most obvious option I could think of!

Yeah I will definitely be doing some major work on the audio and visual elements in the next update once the jam ends - I think some clarification around how the different modes and their respective rules work is definitely wise too,  so I really appreciate your feedback on that front! I'll try to make the buttons more clearly visible and a bit more interactive in the next update.

Thanks so much for your feedback!
(ps. I don't know how I missed your game when I was running through and leaving reviews, so I will give it a go today and leave a review!)

I was wondering when this word would crop up haha! Glad you had fun with it - will be adding some more functionality in the next update post-jam, particularly around the letter generation!

Thanks so much for your feedback!

Thanks so much for your feedback, and yeah it really pulls some weird archaic words out of nowhere - probably a by-product of the dictionary reference, but I will fix that in the next version based on the feedback! Glad you enjoyed you time with it!

Glad to hear it! Yeah it's got big Scrabble vibes!

This was such a charming game, and I loved the sense of humour coming through in every scene. Even that opening had me laughing (Control Room B - the smaller one), really great work!

I loved the visual, and the gameplay was really simple and effective. It was almost funnier to fail the minigames, which I think is always a good sign in terms of the risk/reward. Narration and SFX were great, just a really tight and great little game!

Great work all around, team!

I liked the core idea here, and I think you've achieved a lot with the map and the scale of this game. There's a real sense of uncertainty here which I think compliments the character, but it's very difficult to navigate the world effectively. The NPCs do a fairly effective job of directing you towards the locations of lost items, etc - but as a first time player I have no idea where those places are or what they mean.

The game looks great, although I think it could maybe do with zooming out slightly so the frame captures more of the screen. The controls are really smooth, and I loved the fly/sprint animation - that was a really great touch!

Ultimately, I think scaling the map down and presenting a more focused experience would hugely improve this game - but what is here is quite a lot of fun to play and looks great.

Great work, team!

I had a lot of fun with the core loop here - I really like the art style and that day/night transition, they compliment the game really well.

I think there's a bit of tightening up to do in a few places - would be a bit smoother if you could 'fast-forward' to the end of the day if you've gathered everything and run out of energy (not died). The monsters don't really roam fully, so the map contains safe zones where you effectively just stand to run down the clock. I also think the idle animation needs looking at, as the character defaults to face down irrespective of where you're moving or what you're doing at the time.

Overall, this was a lot of fun and a good execution on a simple premise - great work!

This game gave me Resident Evil inventory management vibes in all the best ways! I think we can all relate to the stress of trying to get luggage through the airport, and you've somehow made that fun.

The game plays really well, and it's super smooth with the music and the great artwork. Really brilliant little game!

Great work!

This was a really cool idea - I loved the menu, that was such a neat touch! I found myself struggling a little with distinguishing the blue font when 'stopwatch' came up, but this was such a fun little game and really intuitive to play!

Also, the writing is really good - gave me a few chuckles as I was going along. Great work, team!

The artwork for this was really stunning, I loved the attention to detail and the de-ageing visual was really superb. This wouldn't usually be my kind of game, but I really enjoyed playing it and the concept is a really great take on the theme. Had me screaming all the way through, and then the Count screaming at the end! Great work!

I love how funky this guy is, but holy hell I hate his relationship with blue pads. This was so much fun, and it's such a great concept and so well executed. Really had a blast playing this - the artwork is really fun and I genuinely adored Onda the minute I saw him strutting his stuff, and the music is just perfect for the game and even I was grooving along within a few seconds. Really brilliant work!

I really think they felt quite distinct; you've done a great job of setting the stakes early and drawing the player into the story, and I think that goes a long way in engaging the imagination as well. I felt like the dialogue and descriptions all did a great job of distinguishing the characters though, so I don't think you need to worry about that at all!

This plays really smoothly and I liked the randomised maps between runs - really handles well and the art assets are all really cool.

Loved that this was genuinely challenging - I fell off the platforms way more than I'd like to admit!

Great work, Sleepy_infix!

This was such a fantastic game! I love the narrative; it's very clear a lot of thought and care went into scripting and crafting it. The characters felt very realised and I think you found a unique voice for each of them.

Really enjoyed the setup and how the game is actually built - interfacing with the story this way really worked wonders, and with the sound and music on top it was just such a pleasure to play.

Really brilliant work!

My pleasure entirely, definitely coming back later to redeem myself!

This was super relaxing to play, and really stunning visually. Loved the audio and really enjoyed the variety on offer in the game. Really liked the premise, and genuinely just lovely to play a game where I wasn't panicking every time the clock ticked down!

Great work from the whole team!

This was a really clever take on the theme, and the resource management via options was a lot of fun. I won't lie, I was awful at it - but I had a lot of fun on the way!

This is such a great premise, I really enjoyed it! Love a good card game, and this fits the theme so neatly too.

Really visually great game, plays super well - great work, team!

I love the art style you've used here, it's so distinct and compliments the game really well. Had a lot of fun punching doods, then got savaged by dogs. Standard day really.

Really great game, top work Psychpsyo!

This was wicked - absolutely loved it. Had a lot of fun trying to find my way through, definitely one I need to circle back to when I've got more time to focus up on it. Looks fantastic, plays like a dream. Great work, Ninkolas!

I'm dying. This was the funniest game I've played in a long time. No notes, 5/5.

I really enjoyed playing this - the puzzles felt really strong and the gameplay is smooth as ice. Really great art style, and just a joy to play. Great work, BitPham!

This was awesome! Really great fun, and such a cool concept as well!

Loved the artwork and the gameplay felt really smooth - definitely coming back to this one again soon!

great work, NeptunianEclipse!

Had a lot of fun with this one! Artwork and music were great, and the design of the ship was really impressive! Player movement was a touch slow, but the core loop was fun and I hated myself for upsetting Fishy to the point where they mutinied. I probably had it coming though.

Great little game, congratulations to the team!

I have never disliked doctors more than I did whilst playing this game! The premise is great, and the artwork is really unique and a lot of fun. I enjoyed playing and once I understood how to really interact with the environments and distract the doctors, I had a great time with it.

Great work, team! Congratulations on a great little game!
