That's an excellent remake, thank you – especially for the Linux version!

Cool game!

Thank you for your answer! I can understand that it is quite a messy thing to compile different versions. I may try it some time. Best wishes!

Hi! Thank you very much for these cool games, I really enjoy them. Could you build this one for Linux as well?

Thank you very much for making this free. It looks awesome.

On Linux, I get this error when trying to start:

Version 3.0.1 addresses the problem! Thank you very much, Chris!

Thank you. Unfortunately, you cannot set movement parameters for top-down 2D games, only for platform games.

Edit: it works only for platform type games. See following reply.

Wow, you are right! Thank you! Those engine field updates are game changing!

Thanks for the amazing update! :) It seems like you cannot overwrite default movements in v3.0 by attaching script to a button (for example, to make the player unable to move). Is there a chance that this feature will come back in future versions?

Wow, what an unique and enjoyable game! It's so cool that you found those "long" animals that would really fit into the game. So much fun, so many possibilities! Thanks!

Thank you very much for your comment. That's a good observation, Booga-Boo inspired me a lot, especially the C64 version.

Thank you for your kind comments and thanks for the live-stream as well!

As for now, you do not have many options to customize platformer games in GB Studio. You cannot change mechanics (gravity, jump strength, acceleration, etc) during game play, for example (these are like constants). I had to find out a workaround to achieve a way by which players can set jump strength while playing: there is an event called "bounce", which makes the player bounce. This option can be set by three levels during the game.

I know it is not an easy game, but I hope people will be able to master it and can get feel its rhythm.

I am so sorry that you had to download that buggy version. You are so kind that you tried it out! (By the way, I uploaded a new version with a few bug fixes.) Thank you very much for playing!

A new version is available with the changes you suggested. :)

Wow, the atmosphere and those graphics are amazing!

Thank you very much for your kind feedback! :) I fixed the help signs, players will be able to read them by pressing the UP button (coming soon in the next version). :)

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your kind feedback and for the suggestion! That is a good idea.

Wow, amazing graphics and excellent idea!

It looks amazing and the atmosphere is also very catchy. Thanks for the game!

Thank you very much for the nice feedback!

It is now fixed in the new version. (With music!)

Thank you! :)

Thank you! 🙂 (Köszönöm! 😁 )

I come back regularly to play this game. Really amazing. I cannot get its music out of my head, it is also amazing.

That is a good idea – however, I would have to rewrite it from scratch in Basic. Maybe one day... :)

No bugs found so far, perfect game, thank you!!!

That is amazing! Thank you very much!

Thank you very much! I hope I will be able to add more levels soon. :)

Wow, that was very good! Thank you! Looking forward to the complete game!

Thanks for adding Linux build! You made an excellent remake!

Thank you for your kind comment! :)

It was great! Thanks!

Wow, this is a great game based on an excellent idea! Really cool, thanks!

Wow, this game is amazing. Thank you!

Wow, thank you very much for this amazing tool! It is super easy and there are so many possibilities. I made my first game with it and it is so much fun to try it on different devices that can emulate GB games!
