Haha. The graphics are cool. But I'm wondering why I get more reputation points and a higher payout for finishing a project after the deadline.

Simple rules. Relentless AI. When your opponent is smarter, outhinking and outlasting are your only weapons.
https://braindebugger.itch.io/cellfront

Spawn green cells. Crush the reds.
No attacks — only a modified version of Conway’s Game of Life, but time advances randomly for each tile, bringing constant change. The world follows those rules, but you can interfere.
The economy breathes.
Income surges and droughts alternate. Each wave lasts twice as long as the previous one. No lead is safe.
The AI is smart and precise.
It finds space to grow, spots weak points in your defenses, and shields its own zones from attacks.
If you can't win on equal footing (diffuculty 100%) ask for handicap.
Outsmart a stronger opponent on a living canvas.
Instant play — runs in your browser on PC or mobile.
Hi everyone — thanks for playing CellFront
This release is a playable prototype and a bit of an experiment: the more we hear from you, the better we can steer the next updates. Bug reports, balance notes, wishlist ideas, even screenshots of your most chaotic boards—all of it helps shape the roadmap below.
Here are the four areas we’re most excited to explore:
Sharper interface – improving layout on various devices
Rule tweaks & new modes – Scheduled reinforcements, more chaotic income effects, cells traits (like fertile/barren, productive/idle, resilient/fragile, strong/weak), Stand of Last Hope (trying to defend with limited resources, not knowing when you reeice help and if help will be enough), Zombies - Outnumbered cells don’t just die. They change sides. Spoils of war - cells perished near opponent gives income to them
Smarter (yes, even smarter) AI – use actual more effective value causality spread.
Campaigns – every mode comes with its own campaign of designed levels, teaching new mechanics and ramping up to roguelike-tier challenges.
(And yes, a PvP mode is on the secret wishlist—just as soon as I figure out how to make this run at warp speed on server and slip in some tasteful microtransactions. Totally kidding… probably.)
Tell us which of these ideas excites you most—or suggest something entirely different. Your feedback will set the priorities and keep the project moving forward. Thanks for playing, and have fun trying to tame the red swarm!
Idea is very interesting and game was fun, however mathematics of this game is not good.
1) Features are imbalanced
2) Startups are not hopeless, as long as you make code small and rely on constant income from users. (You even can be profitable longer than you can be annoyed), therefore stratup can be good.
3) Not sure why increasing code size makes proportional growth in expences but does not make application better
4) Impressed by how much money you can do, without being able to withdraw them
Total rating 4/5 (because game was fun)
This game has not only intersting gameplay and brilliant story. but also symbolism (Definitely more than love story).
Interesting feeling like something dark inside me, that I that I identify with sometimes is being destroyed and cleansed with light power. Dark Queen cuddling fallen hero looks for me like absorbing something with her heart. After defeat of darkness, inner light leaked through heart. And then final strike with sword (sword looks more like spiritual, rather than just weapon).
Very interesting game, however doing repeatitive things manually is not so fun. May be feature that allows to memory actions and repeat them could be useful. (However every run need to be slightly different and as result, it will be more thinking and waiting rather then thinking and repeating things.
Idea is interesting, but I see following flaws here:
1) Accuse and bribe works sometimes (but often button does not work at all).
2) Because of 1), I can't understand logic of senators who are voting for "hidden agendas"
3) At Year 1021 I have no cards and can't vote. I expected either more cards or game end event.
