INCREDIBLY charming. Big fan of this one!

DrivethruRPG is updated and now live!

Used it tonight! "Reveal a phobia" was perfect :)

Big fan of this, love having random tables to spark the imagination. Genuinely useful!

This kind of generator is really cool! How did you make it?

This looks so incredibly cool. And WOW, that header art is absolutely killer.

Does what it says on the tin

I will definitely let you know if I do!

But I am going to belabor the point! At the very least, make the games pay what you want. But my favorite solution is to charge a price (they are worth buying right now, don't feel like you need those polish things!) and also offer free community copies. Show that you're worth something, AND make the games accessible!

At any rate, gonna keep an eye out for your work! Keep it up!

Hey, I just discovered your games! Could you do me a favor and start charging money for them, because these are extremely cool and you deserve to get paid!

This is secretly one of the best essays on modern TTRPG game design out there.

I am working on a big update that contains tons of new examples, scenarios and advice.

Right now though, the best way to get that info is from the horses' mouth. Come visit the Discord and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have and give direction!

Loved the original jam game, thrilled to have purchased the full release, can't wait to start playing it.

Also, WORLD CLASS demo you released for the game. Well done!

Chase the Hollow is a very moody creepypasta simulator! Really neat core mechanic that leans into the tropes of the genre, until only one is left.

Plus, this game plays in a design space that I've always been interested in - when a player is Taken, they still get ways to help from beyond the grave! Extremely cool.

Looking forward to giving this one a try!

This looks awesome. Can't wait to check it out.

Ah, that won't do! I let my community copies run out, sorry!

Please grab one, and if you like the game come back and throw me a couple bucks. It's a core value to me that anyone who is interested in the game should be able to access it!

(you can also join the EtSH discord where you can find additional resources available!)

If I wanted to introduce someone to Forged in the Dark games, this is a really strong contender. Easy, fast, light and a hell of a lot of fun. Not to mention beautifully laid out and extremely readable! Highly recommended!

Nasty, Brutish, and Long is an incredibly unique game in the TTRPG space. By focusing on a very specific fantasy - revolutionaries in a fantastical world - it creates a fascinating free-form structure.

The book looks great, with excellent layout and font choices. The words are snappy and to the point, and almost every page reinforces the themes. A streamlined version of the Forged in the Dark ruleset makes the game cover huge amounts of time willed with player-driven drama. Incredibly evocative stuff!

I genuinely love this. It's hard for me to imagine a more distilled version of what TTRPGs are. This is as elemental as it gets.

Proud purchaser of a physical copy!

This is a Dungeon World killer for me. Excited to give this a try!

As far as games based on puns go, this is fucking top-tier. This is incredible.

This is really an exceptional resource for people interested in making a FitD game. Well done!

This is a FABULOUS little game. Wonderfully written, great layout, and elegant mechanics. Creating the dungeon with a deck of cards is super cool.

This is basically like 'Betrayal at the House on the Hill', but actually good!

I can't wait to give this a try - this is made for me :)

Haha, slightly awkward.

My bundled adventure was also going to be called The Mansion Incident, for reasons that are fairly obvious.

But I reckon this town is big enough for the two of us! I'm happy to change the name of my adventure so that I don't step on your toes. We are kindred spirits in our enthusiasm for the greatest zombie-themed survival horror game series of all time.

Having no experience with Escape from Demon Castle Dracula, I think this looks cool, and I wish you all the success!

Absolutely love the look of this. You really nailed the aesthetic.

I don't think this is the right place to contact you, but I don't have twitter so oh well!

I did a mash up of Blades in the Dark and Roll for Shoes!

You are inmates in Arkham Asylum. Make ransom-note love letters to Batman to win a date with the Dark Knight! What's not to love?

My family has been playing this game for the last five years. Many more samples attached on the store page!

Any excuse for Zocchi dice is cool by me!

Boy, this is kinda laser-targeted at me, huh?

I was interested in this game BEFORE I found out you made Pony Island. Now it is mandatory.

I'll also be that sub-human degenerate who would love to play it on Switch.

All good. Thank you so much for the personal reply! Again, this is a really wonderful collection of rules. Absolutely love it.

I know it's a long shot, but are there versions of the PDFs that are editable in Illustrator? I would love to modify the maps of Duskwall to fit my own fantasy city, but importing the documents to Illustrator totally breaks the formatting.

This is genuinely one of the best TTRPGs ever made, and it speaks to me on so many levels. Big fan, bought the book, money well spent.

Hey there,

I'm working on a diceless RPG of my own and was skimming the site to see if I found any kindred spirits. I think this is a really great framework! I would be excited to see more if you wanted to document your playtests or write up some scenarios. Good stuff!
