Absolutely fantastic. Made me feel things despite its game-jam length.

That was fantastic! I loved how i needed to press the buttons in the start as a tutorial. I also loved the small bench break, breaks up the pace of the game really nicely. I did not expect a small break to make such a nice difference. Played it all the way through. Loved it. All the animations are juicy and the game feels really good to play.
Namtar is a hand- drawn psychedelic 2D action game set in a grotesque, neon purgatory. Awaken and meet forgotten souls that endure horrors to reclaim their past. Encounter colourful enviroments, communicate with other-wordly creatures, and get obliterated by nightmarish angels. All while trying to unravel who you were — and what you’ve become.
Play time ~ 15-30 minutes.
Gamepad supported.
All feedback is Welcome!

seems like the html version is a bit bugged. Miners dont work properly on that version. Love the game though! Kept playing to get even more stuff! Love the art and the general simplicity of the game. I also like the way you progress through the darker depths with the cool effect that affects the screen.
Fan-tas-tic! You managed to achieve amazing variety with such a simlpe concept. I loved all the patterns and i got mesmerized by the bullet hell. The music is also fantastic. Im just really curious about how you did all the patterns, code wise. How did you manage to transition from one pattern to another? Simply amazing. Congrats! Im looking forward to anything else you will make, combat and game-design wise <3
Nope! Its just might seem that way because the remote changes place every time you retry! There are a limited amount of spawn positions for the the remote. Here's a full list!:
spoilers! Here's all the spawn spots: left/right/middle side of couch under the pillows, under the couch, under the coffee table, under the blankets (under the TV next to the cameras), under the pillows on the ground on the left/right, under the pillows on the chairs on the left/right, on the right/left side of piano (those are a bit hidden due to the plant leaves), and between the plants on top of the drawer on the right.
Thank you for playing! Now that you said it, simplyfying the controls would make the game better. We will improve and fix the game in an upcoming update. We're thinking of completely removing the "aim" button, as the game could just shoot at where your mouse is pointing. Hop by when we update it and tell us what you think, and also, good luck on the jam!
I did not expect the "You sent her to the hospital", i laughed out loud! The intro camera is kinda laggy and jittery, and i couldnt understand what was going on. It was lagging until i pressed escape. I guess i skipped the cutscene? Also i feel like it would be helpful if some kind of tutorial was in-game. Loved the slap though! Also in the second match i played, when it was my turn for the second time i couldnt re-grab the thing, so i couldnt slap him/ do anything. Fun concept, fun voice overs !
I freaking loved this. The atmosphere is amazing and it just looks really good. I kept taking the meds. I dont know if i was supposed to progress in some way (other than looping and then the protagonist saying they've done this again). I would love to see more of this story. Thats the power of love i guess
