You don’t need to go back that far! I meant that you needed to leave where you entered the room to rescue Jamar. The map there where you entered, go as far south as you can. It’s a large map. Jamar’s room is an optional puzzle room and not required to enter at all.
Just decoration! No need to enter it! Sorry, I might remove it if it’s confusing! Just need to head back from where you came and find another way forward (southern most portion of the map)
Hmm, I just tried downloading them and it worked for me. I tested the windows version too and it ran okay. Which version are you using? I don’t have a Mac so I can’t download that one. I’d recommend trying to download the links from the main page
