How to Break (Some) 50/50s
Chapter 1 - Cleanse

When you left click on a number, if the correct amount of mines surround it, all the unknown tiles adjacent to it will be opened. This is called Cleanse.
Chapter 2 - Cleanse?

If you left click on a flagged tile, and a number is under it, Cleanse still works. This glitch is the key to breaking some 50/50s.
Chapter 3 - Cleansed

Consider the above scenario, where the "4" on top has one more mine near it and the top "2" also has one more mine near it.
Without this method, you would have to guess, which can be frustrating if you lose a good board over luck.

However, by attempting to cleanse a tile with flags where mines would be if it's a number, either:
The tile is a number, in which the cleanse will succeed, you know it's a number, and the 50/50 is broken.
OR
The tile is a mine, in which the cleanse will fail, you know it's a mine, and the 50/50 is broken.
Chapter 3.5 - Uncleansable
Unfortunately, this doesn't work for all 50/50s, like the above scenario.
If (successfully) cleansing had a sound, any 50/50 could be solved, because you would be able to determine if it can cleanse, meaning it's a number.
Closing Remarks
While this doesn't completely remove 50/50s and it's based on a bug, it can remove a decent amount of luck from your games.
Thanks for reading this, Please give me a like, and have fun!
Okay, I think I know why a lot of the bugs exist, but it'll take some explaining:
1. This has been fixed.
2. First off, the wording of this is very hard to understand, so here it is summarized: When you walk off a ladder, you can still jump mid-air.
Second, this is because climbing a ladder doesn't remove your ability to jump.
3. There was no protection put in place for when you go above a certain speed. This also means that if you get enough horizontal speed, you can clip though walls.
4. This is intended.
5. PICO-8 has a set limit to how much memory can be in one variable, and if a level tries to add too many objects (not blocks) to the level, it crashes.
Great concept, but a lot of the mechanics can be very infuriating when you don't know how they work, and there's no tutorial to tell you that they work like that.
One time, I marked a space as a mine, but didn't realize mines behind locked tiles count towards numbers, so I lost the game.
Also, playing in hard doesn't seem to give more coins than medium because there's less space for coins to appear in, so it's overall better to play in medium over hard.
I love to play around in this... game? Whatever it is, I do wish the connections were displayed with arrows. It would make it much clearer to see what goes where. Also, being able to disable H bringing up the help menu would help, or maybe just add a help button. Still, a great idea, and fun to mess around in!
I'm using chrome on windows 10, and I think it may not be the game's fault, because I've gotten errors attached to localStorage on other things, so it may be my google account.
EDIT: I read the big block of text for iOS, (because I like reading, I know, I'm a nerd. What did you expect?) and I saw the bottom: "The only work-around for SIC-1 (...) is to manually export your save data...". Well then, I guess I'll do that!
It's a Great game AND it's Educational?!
Seriously though, some of the instructions are pretty cryptic, and I can't get past 1.12. Any advice on it?
Other than that, Great game!
EDIT: Just came back to this, and figured out that 1.12 is impossible, because there is no way to make a proof of R from Q. Really disappointing.
