Disqualified; rule violation: “Your game must be created during the jam[…]”

We already had a Discord server, but there weren’t many people using it. So we eventually deleted it.

The next jam will be advertised through this message board and a Mastodon server.

We might also host a message board and/or chat server in the future.

Thanks for your hint and happy jamming!

You can also use French in your game. But it may get less attention.

Vous pouvez également utiliser le français dans votre jeu. Mais il risque d’attirer moins l’attention.

Greetings Jammers, if you’d like to celebrate the summer solstice with a little weekend jam, you should definitely try the Mid-Jam!
There is also a topic system which allows anyone to submit a topic and vote for the jam’s topics.

We’d be happy to see you participate!

Greetings Jammers,
the Mid-Jam’s topic voting has finished and the topics are “SECRET INFORMATION” and “JUST ONE”!

You have the option to use one of those or, if you’re up to the challenge, include both in your game!
Since we are celebrating the summer solstice with this jam, your game can optionally include it as a topic.

How the topics are interpreted is up to you.

Happy jamming!

Hi, the jam’s rules are mostly written for video games. But sure, we would be happy to see a board game!
If some rules get in your way, just tell us. We’re always open to suggestions!

Have fun ;)

Regards,
Ever

Mid-Jam 2021 has ended 🎉

The winning game is Broken Brakes by Skinner Space, congratulations 👏

You can still try to upload your files!

Yes, just upload it.

It doesn’t matter where your game runs, it can run on whichever platform you make it for.

It’s ok to use pre-made fonts for your game, but they should be properly credited.

We had a Discord server last year, but there was virtually nobody in it, so I would suggest to use this community forum here instead (;

It’s ok to use royalty-free music for your game, if you’re really bad at creating music. But it has to be properly credited.

Graphics must be done by your team, as stated in the rules (because everybody should be able to draw at least something - with music it’s a different topic).

Your game will be ranked on theme, idea, gameplay, graphics and sound.

The topic-voting has finished and the topics are “CAN’T STOP” and “COLOR MATTERS”!

You can choose between the two topics and if you’re feeling like you need an extra challenge, you can use both!
