Thanks for the tip :)

Maybe try the native version instead of the HTML5 one?

Hold down up to climb

I may add this later if it improves gameplay

I get lots of errors on Ubuntu 19.04, and then a segfault if I press a hexagon

Your page says it runs on Linux but I can't find any Linux binaries :(

It's a nice concept and I like the music. I think the controls would be easier if shots were fired towards the mouse rather than having to drag the mouse for each shot. Also it might be more fun if the fire rate and bullet speed were increased :) Good work!

Hope this works: https://we.tl/t-dUO7tvMqEs (made with alien)

I get a segfault on Ubuntu 19.04, I had to build it from source to run. Really nice game though, this is the most creative use of the theme I've seen so far.

Right, I see what you mean, thanks! I'll be fixing those soon.

Thanks a lot :) The art is public domain and by the brilliant Ansimuz, do check him out at http://pixelgameart.org/web/ and https://opengameart.org/users/ansimuz

Thank you! Could you explain what you mean by finishing issues please?

Yes, you're right about it being slippery, I need to change that. Thanks for the feedback!

Alt-F4 works for me

Really nice game, loved the music in particular! To get it to work, I had to run

sudo apt install libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0 libsdl2-image-2.0-0 libsdl2-ttf-2.0-0  libsdl2-2.0-0

Great fun! Just one little thing: when you upgrade everything to level 10, you are still able to spend money on upgrades which do nothing.

Arrow keys to move, Z to fire. Have fun!

Really enjoyed this! You should make it clearer that WASD works because that's much more comfortable for right-handed players. Also have you considered adding a bloom effect?

Thank you so much for this, I had great fun watching your video! I'm afraid there was no time to implement checkpoints. Glad you enjoyed the game, you're much better at it than me :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Faster climbing would benefit gameplay but I just couldn't make it fit with the animations. And yes I will modify the drone noises once judging is over.

Thanks again for playing my game!

Are we allowed to use our own assets (e.g. art, music) that were made prior to the jam?
