There will be one last update once someone has finished writing their employee clients and get art, but our main focus has moved on to The Restoration of Aphrodisia for a long while now.

I see two issues with your logs files. On is a file not found problem for the file he Exile of Aphrodisia (2023)_Data/StreamingAssets\EncounterText/ominousRumblingsInTheHighPass/ominousRumblingsInTheHighPass_choose_scout.txt which seems very strange why that one particular file is not present. Re-downloading the game may help with that (save game files shouldn't be affected).
As for the others, it looks like your party was spawning Instincts Kick In events that should have been disabled due to your party's particular composition. Can you also send any save game files from shortly before that issue began, if you still have them?
The favored way is via our Discord server, but you could send them as files to our relay email 3j2vkp2im@mozmail.com .
That's odd, maybe have something to do with the game trying to skip repeated encounters if it only happens on repeat plays. Can you upload your player.log and player-prev.log files? Typically they're found in a location like:
C:\Users\[PC Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Blue Fairy Media LLC\The Exile of Aphrodisia (2023)
Eventually the game will include transformations like this: https://imgur.com/9NlusWs
Eventually there will be, though the first game was developed over several years, and this game has been worked on for the past seven months and with only myself as the writer so far, so it'll take a long time to catch up to a similar level of content as the original.
That's part of why the first release here is going to be "earliest" alpha and free for everyone for a long while during development. In its current state it has potentially up to several hours of gameplay with several transformations, though three of the four quests in the game currently take place on the starting / tutorial region.
Thanks for the feedback. For a time we were pursuing a tutorial like that but some poor coding decisions and the overall random nature of the game made us reverse course and fall back to the version today which is more of a lookup help system than a hand-holding one. I'm not sure if Tycoon will ever have a tutorial like this as we are focusing primarily on a new project now, but this will be useful in the future.
Unfortunately there are not any other ways to select options aside from the mouse at this time.
Perhaps in a the future we could use arrows keys or something else to change which button has focus, though if your mouse is performing multiple clicks in quick succession with you meaning to, that what you have described would probably cause issues in many other parts in the game as well, not just in encounters.
