Está bien. Interesante concepto.

Hi, DarkWolf 009! Thank you so much for playing R.U.L.U., it means a lot to me.
I didn’t think anyone would actually like the intro music. That (and the main menu music) are the only pieces of the soundtrack I composed.
Regarding the bugs… you’re right. I was working on them today while porting to Android. I didn’t notice them in the time limit 💀.
Your idea about “suggesting the next state” is very good. I’ve been toying with a lot of ideas about how to remember the next state, but I didn’t have time to implement them in my mess of code, haha. I’ll implement it if I ever make R.U.L.U. a full game.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
Hi, SirNewt! Thank you so much for playing R.U.L.U. It means a lot to me. The intro was designed to make you feel that way, and to get you into the narrative. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I understand it can be a bit difficult. I was only able to get a friend to playtest, and we fixed a few things. And I’m really glad you liked the way you got into the rhythm of the game.
My review (Remember to rate my game too!):
The “LOOP” idea is very creatively implemented. I never would have thought of that approach. The game opened in too small a window for me… that’s a problem. Several things weren’t legible. Aesthetically, some sprites look too pixelated, but the music is nice. Overall, it’s an idea that could have been explored much more with a little more time.
(Sorry if my English is poor; I speak Spanish and use a translator.)
My review (Remember to rate my game too!):
The game’s aesthetic is very nice. I like it. The sounds are the same. The “catch with a loop” idea can be exploited a lot, and that’s very good. Probably due to time constraints, we couldn’t do more, and there were some bugs that forced me to restart. But, overall, the idea is good.

My review (Remember to rate my game too!):
I really like the visuals and audio. They give the game a really interesting aesthetic. That’s what caught my attention.
As for gameplay, the tutorial is much appreciated. It explains the concept, and the levels teach you how to use it. The complete combo.
The theme… “LOOP”… I don’t know if it fits very well with the Jam’s theme. I think it feels more like a “CIRCLE” than a “LOOP”.
Leaving that aside, overall, it’s a very interesting offering. I had a good time playing.

My review (Remember to rate my game too!):
I immediately recognized the inspiration from Sam Hogan’s game. It was a good idea. The fact that you cycle through turns is interesting. You have a combination of aesthetics, sound, and feedback to make the game feel juicy.
I would add a tutorial scene, where you explain the basic gameplay to the player (I know the controls are on the game’s website, but that wouldn’t hurt).
I want to highlight that your itch.io page is very nice and made me want to play the game even more.
Overall, the game has a good idea and excellent execution.

My Review (Remember to rate my game too!):
The game has very nice visuals and is visually very appealing. That’s what caught my attention the most. It’s an interesting idea and uses the “LOOP” theme well.
I wish the tutorial had been a little clearer, or the first level had been a little more introductory, because to be honest… I had no idea what I was doing. Also, I managed to place all four towers and still lost. I didn’t understand much (probably my fault for not speaking enough English).
Overall, the game has a really good concept, but there are times when you don’t know what to do.
My review (Sorry for my English, I'm a Spanish speaker and I use a translator).
There are bugs, but they don't hurt the experience that much. The aesthetics aren't the best, but the concept is really interesting. The lack of sounds other than the player's doesn't allow for much, but overall, it has a lot of potential.
I don't know if it was just me, but my score never appeared at the end. It looked choppy. I think the best thing for these competitions is to use a better engine or refine the game in the current one.

Aesthetically, it's the most beautiful game I've seen in the jam so far. Congratulations on that. The gameplay is interesting, using only the mouse and one button. That's very good. Perhaps a few details, like making the first level easier and better introducing the concept to the player, could make the game much better.
The main menu and options are very professional, as are the aesthetics. The gameplay is the only complaint.

This is my first jam as well. Greetings, fellow beginner.
There are only two levels, but they're good. It's a creative concept, and I really like the shield concept. It's very good. Perhaps some aesthetic details could be improved, like the font choice, which is Unity's default. Perhaps giving the player a smaller cooldown when shooting and giving the shield a cooldown could be elements that improve the gameplay, making it more balanced.

A rhythm game was sorely needed in the jam. The concept is very good, rhythm with only two buttons (that was my first idea for a lol concept, but I settled on a platformer). It's aesthetically pleasing, and the music (which makes it a rhythm game) is very good.
My only issue is the UI, which I prefer would be better if it were more visible to the player, since being fixed in the center and with the rating at the top, it's difficult to see your combo and your score. Aesthetically, it could be better.

The game has a beautiful aesthetic, and I really like that. The gameplay is creative and exactly the arcade gameplay I had hoped for in this jam. My only negative comments would be how slow the enemies move.

The concept is original to the point of being funny. It's too good.
The controls are a bit difficult, but I think that's part of the game's intention. It's a fun game that has great potential to become popular among streamers. It should be a lot of fun to watch.

Okay, the game concept is really interesting, as is the gameplay. However, I think it would have worked much better with an arcade style, since the controls allow for it. I'm not really a fan of the decision to use Undertale music, but it's allowed, so I can't say anything.
The controls are smooth, but sometimes laggy. I really like the fact that it has six levels divided into two chapters.
Overall, it's a good game that could be much more refined.

Dude, thanks so much for your comments! I admire you and "Dualien."
It's true, it was a bit tricky to get the gameplay right so I could balance it with just two buttons for vertical jumping. It was a bug I couldn't fix due to the limited time, my lack of experience, and the lack of testers. It's my first game, lol.
However, I really appreciate your review!
My review (Sorry for my English, I'm a Spanish speaker and I use a translator).
It has so much potential as a game, but I think the difficulty jump is excessively large from the tutorial to the dog (or wolf, I don't know XD). I love its art, and the only thing I really miss is the music, as it refers to "Rhythm" in its title.
That's my entire review (Don't forget to review my game too)

It's... literally what it says. An average runner with two inputs. The artwork isn't particularly impressive, but the gameplay is creative, using buttons to jump and slide. I see it with potential to be a two-dimensional version of "Subway Surfers."
That's my review. (Don't forget to review my game too.)

I’m sorry… but I’m not going to play it.
