This game is the cat's meow, daddy-o. I'll see you hipsters at the speakeasy after the show, ya dig?

Itch.io: What would you rate this game?

Bish: I'd rate it this many!

Bish holds up 16 fingers.

Another banger! Great work, keep it up!

This is legitimately fantastic. The serious parts combined with the surreal humor make for a beautiful, personal experience. Please keep writing!!! <3

Great game! Do you have any hints for the secret achievement "the lost pigeon"?

Great lil VN! I loved learning about our resident Wizard Boy and his neat world. Would love to see more from him and his world one day!

That fixed it! Thanks for letting me know!

I downloaded the pc version and it gave me an error I've never seen before when trying to run it:

I'd like to submit my game as well, Strawberry Daiquiri. It's a free game (and my only game), but I want to help in any way I can. https://bishounenp.itch.io/strawberry-daiquiri

I'm curious if there's anything else you can do in the intro, after finishing the game once I'm running around in the garden area looking for some other thing I can do with the "flower." It'd be a great bonus addition to add later on in the bigger project, if not!

Your game is as great as always! The art is lovely and it was a unique way of telling Cyrus' story. I love Rutaboo, he reminds me of Papyrus. He's very cute. Era is my other favorite :)

F A N T A S T I C  W O R K,  H U M A N!

This was wonderful! I love the concept and execution (lol) of this. The art is really unique as well; the artist has a fantastic style. The fact that you made this in a month is also amazing, I'd love to see what you could do with a longer deadline.

You can! So, like, there's an entire "Confront" button that I and some of my friends missed out on our first few attempts. Once you gather all the evidence you can find and talk to everyone about all topics, you can hit the Confront button to move on to the next segment. Eventually you will discover those weapons.

This VN is fantastic and critically underplayed!! Can't wait for you to make your next one!

I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts that I have to start all over every time I fail ahhhhhhh

edit: once i realized that there was an entire confront button that advanced the game it became a lot easier to figure out

edit edit: BUT then i got stuck after my 4th confront and it reset my progress :(

I really like the ideas behind this game but I must say it's frustrating to see EVNs go even further and further away technologically. It had a cute story and everything but sacrificed basic functionality of VNs: skipping only one line at a time, no text speed options, and even worse, only being able to advance the text by clicking one button.

It's been an annoying trend for people to make VNs in Unity without programming the basics we already get from Ren'Py. I apologize if I'm coming across as too harsh but I'm beginning to find that with the advancement of technology, there is no excuse for lacking the very basics of a VN.

Thank you!! :)

I played this on a whim, but it's definitely going to stay with me. The conversations always felt completely natural and the vibe of the game was consistent. I'm totally in love with it.

Thanks :)

Got em, thanks!

Purchased Yousei the second I saw it on here! I saw it came with a steam key, and was curious if the other two did as well. I purchased them awhile back, but would love to have the trilogy in my steam library. Thanks!

I don't want to post spoilers in the comment section, but I have been trying to do something for an hour and I am utterly stuck. Is there a way I can email you or contact you on twitter so I don't spoil others?

I think it was just a glitch! I reinstalled it with the itch client and all of my saves were still there. Working my way through a second playthrough now after getting ending 10 I believe. Very nice game, it's fantastic so far.

So my laptop died at the exact moment Rupert approaches you in the hall and it SPOOKED THE HELL OUT OF ME! And then I turned my computer back on and the game was UNINSTALLED FROM THE ITCH CLIENT idk if that's part of the game or if that was just a REALLY WEIRD COINCIDENCE but oh my god it was spooky af

Thanks!

I see people struggling with the part AFTER the maze but honestly I couldn't get through the maze. I tried hugging the right wall a few times but always ended up back at the start. It seemed as I got further the walls and floor would look very blurry to me and i wasn't sure if that was intentional but after staring at it for awhile it was making me nauseous.

I really wish I could have played further, though!

Maybe one day! For now, it was just meant to be our first VN, so it is a complete project.

What a lovely comment! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your reply. <3

The music and art... and really just the general aesthetic of this game is absolutely phenomenal! Love Havi in particular he is such a sweetheart.

Jane & I helped each other out on our VNs for Yaoi Jam, so I might seem a little biased here, but I really love this VN. It's very cute and her character writing is fantastic.

Wow, thank you! I really appreciate your kind words.

That was really cute! I love all your VNs and can't wait for you to make more!

Thank you for your kind words!!

Thanks for explaining! As I've read more and more VNs, I've started to prefer less choices in them. I'll be sure to check out your VNs sometime too!

Thank you for your kind words!!

Get the first order right, then screw up everyone else's

this game is AMAZING
